I selected the 23kg check in option when making my booking. When I checked in it wasn’t incl. I can’t get a breakdown of my original fare to confirm. I have now had to pay another 134 Euros for 2 x 23kg suitcases. I feel like I’ve been charged twice

Very easy to work with

Asinine check in system that requires you to download the terrible Ryanair app to get your boarding pass, connect your phone Bluetooth to some random device and go through a convoluted process to get your bag tickets at the airport with hundreds of people also trying to figure out their system. Will not fly Ryanair in future any supposed savings in price are not worth the trouble. Ciao

In order to retrieve your boarding passes and not get charged at the airport, you have to scan your passport. However my passport was not scanning through the app and it will not allow you to input it manually. Please add another option for typing it in manually or taking a photo. Incredibly frustrating as you have to pay for every little change and this should be a smooth experience for the customer.

Keeps saying my email is incorrect so unable to sign up. Same email Ryanair email me with!

Very time consuming to checkin and buy extra luggage. There is no decent workflow and I spent 3 attempts today over different sessions and checked in via a browser.

Will never use Ryanair again I would pay more to make sure i dont use them.

So I bought a ticket to Malta…paid extra for baggage. I get to the airport thinking, I’ve got to check in my bag and I’ll check in when I get there to check in my bag. Nope, not according to Ryanair! You check in your bag at the airport but check yourself online, otherwise it’s a 55 pound fine. Why? Why 55 pounds??? Why not explain to me so I don’t make that mistake again? And not one Ryanair representative in Manchester AirPort. Not even 1?!?!?! Their response was… you’ll have to take it up with Ryanair in Dublin. I won’t fly this airline and I suggest to think twice before any of you do.

The system goes and asks during check-in for a whole lot of information. It already tried to ask when you bought the ticket plus it goes through a process of trying to resell you all the same things that sold you at the. Purchase there should be a way of rapidly moving through those sections if it is really just a checking.

You should specify more clearly what the reservation number is

My ticket includes 20kg checked bag. On checkin the checked baggage is handle differently to Cabot bag and makes no mention that I have it included. Looks like I needed to purchase but you indicated I had a free cabin bag.

Very slow and clunky. Cannot online book in without a compatible phone.

Poor fron ánd threatened to charge me money when their app doesnt work to scan my passport - it’s not my fault your app scan won’t read my passport as per your advice ánd I have an iPhone - not at all useful ánd abuse of the over vigilant privacy when according to my government I have a secure ánd well recognized passport ánd why do you need more of the same thing?????? When tampering of my passport has been made so much harder oh ánd btw not every airline needs a copy of my passport - intrusive ánd un necessary

Trying go do online check in through the app and getting “something went wrong” almost every step. If I don’t check in online before flight I will be charged for the check in fee. Well done Ryanair 👍

Never flown Ryanair before, prob won’t ever again. App wasn’t working properly but still got charged GBP 110 due to late check in, 1 hour and 58 minutes before flight was due to leave !!!!

The worse app made my a terrible company that wants to steal your money with their new digital boarding pass rules. Cannot verify passports on a return flight (although it worked on the inbound leg no problem). Shameless capitalists who are thieving liars

No assistance from a real person. Don’t recommend using them. App is not great either.

I have a booking with 3 passengers. It had only asked to scan Robert’s passport and say the other two passengers have to get boarding used at check in. Which I believe incus a fee. How was my booking accepted and my payment taken if you needed verification. Can someone please contest me to fix this. Booking ref G69LHR

First time using RyanAir in years. It is outrageous that they demand you use their app when uut is buggy. Way to make things incredibly stressful when they needn’t be.

I never would’ve booked a Ryanair flight had I known they changed their policy and now force people to download and use this broken app - links for checkin are often circular and clunky (not intuitive). I also don’t live in Europe anymore so the app is useless beyond this single flight. I used to fly Ryanair often due to being closer to stansted and while it was basic it was fine even with being forced to check in twice (once online to avoid the fee and again at the airport since I’m not EU). Anyway I guess it’s fine if you live anywhere in Europe but people outside shouldn’t bother.

App works fine but why do I need an app

I used the app but received email I had booked thru a 3rd party and Ryanair wouldn’t accept the booking?? To ‘verify’ was quite painful and one booking was accepted but another wasn’t because my passport wouldn’t scan. Lesson don’t use app to book+pa. Maybe online works better? In future I’m sticking with trad airlines. Four hours of my life I’ll never get back.
