The absolute worst
This is the absolute worst app I’ve ever used for food delivery. The worst. Firstly navigating the menus is an absolute nightmare, constantly kicking you back out to the store main page when you wanna view more items. The technical glitches in this app are like astronomical. I can’t believe they shipped something like this. In addition, it sends me notifications that my orders are being canceled and then the order shows up anyway. Rappi keeps charging you after you cancel subscription
I cancelled my Pro subscription via the app more than a year ago and they keep charging me. Based on Google searches , this seems to be a common problem. I tried getting help via the app the rep just cut me off. Good luck even being able to talk to support if you are not in Latin America anymore. Follow-up attempts get completely ignored. Meanwhile Rappi sends me ads via notifications multiple times a day. I had to file a fraud claim with my credit card company to block charges which was tricky because of the way Rappi sets up the billing.

Why is this even in the US store
Rappi has absolutely no business being in the US App Store. The app lets you sign up, browse, add items, and waste your time for 20 minutes before declining every transaction from international cards and even blocking payments through their own “partner” AstroPay. If you only want customers from certain countries or banking systems, then restrict the app to those regions instead of misleading everyone else into thinking the service actually works. Slow and Delayed Deliveries
I used this app twice during my trip to Cartagena. First time I ordered McDonalds and my food was delayed an additional 30 mins after already waiting an hour. I had to cancel the order and only received a refund for the delivery fee. The following day I ordered KFC on the app. I waited 1 hour and 30mins for the food, then it continued to be delayed for an additional hour. Several times the app has misinterpreted receipts and charged too much. Customer service refuses to understand the problem, rules against you, and cuts off communication. This application is horrible! They provide you with an option to have your order delivered first at an additional COST. You pay the additional money to have your order delivered as priority and your order still takes 2 hours to be delivered! And they still delivery another order before yours. I gave them photo proof that their delivery driver spilled my drink inside my bag completely soaking all my food so I refused to take the order and contacted support for a refund. We used to have a good experience, but lately the quality has been terrible. Food is messed up, delivered to the wrong address because of a glitch, or cancelled right before delivery. They changed to a support system that looks more like a scam. If a food doesn’t come at all and you report it and send pictures and send all proof necessary. Before it was an immediate credits refund. NOW they tell you “You’ll receive it in 48h”, they never give you back. They also close the conversation so you can’t reach out about the problem. Their help center is basically a doc with typical situations explanation but NO way to reach out to support and contact an agent. The customer support is basically non-existent. I’ve made 8 orders with them on my time in Brazil. Average wait time for all 8 orders is 1.6 hours. Of those 8 orders, 2 cancelled, and 2 never arrived. One of them, the receptionist said he took the picture of the food, then took off with it. The other time, the receptionist said no one even stopped by. I really enjoy using Rappi. There’s always great deals and for the most part my deliveries are always on time. I’ve experienced some problems in the past regarding a mistake with my order or even one time my food no toning but the delivery driver showed it as delivered and Rappi would not refund me.
