Unhelpful support and poor resolution
I encountered an issue while placing an order due to limitations in the app’s ordering flow, which resulted in me being charged for an item I did not actually want. I contacted support expecting a fair resolution, but my refund request was denied despite the circumstances. Mistakes and usability issues can happen in any app, but what matters is how customer support handles them. Unfortunately, I felt that no real effort was made to understand or resolve the problem. Ridiculous Service, avoid as long as possible
For a while I’ve used this app and really didn’t have much issue with it, but recently I placed an order and it was almost 30 minutes late, with no courier assigned for almost an hour. It was later at night, so I can understand that, but Wolt needs to uphold their delivery estimates as long as the restaurants are open, including actively working to get a courier to deliver orders. I tried to contact their customer service and their AI couldn’t help, so I was placed in queue to wait for a customer service agent, but the wait wasn’t a couple minutes, nor was it even 30 minutes, but 12 HOURS!! Food Safety Is Not ‘Subjective’: Wolt’s Mishandling of a Spoilage Complaint
Wolt’s handling of a recent food safety complaint was remarkably poor. I received an order from Silk Road in San Ġwann containing chicken that tasted clearly spoiled… rancid, sour, and immediately concerning from the first bites. This was not a matter of preference or seasoning. The issue was the unmistakable taste and smell of meat that appeared unfit for consumption. What was genuinely disappointing was Wolt’s response. Unrealistic
Giving this a two, and for a legitimate but maybe small reason for some. Every time I use this app and order food I see a plethora of photos that are photoshopped and essentially don’t represent what I order. It is to the point where I never know what I am going to get quality wise. I am in Germany however, so this misrepresentation may be isolated to my area. Still, definetly an issue myself and others would like to see corrected.

Customer support catastrophe
I ordered food… driver shows up, gives my order to someone else, they refund me my order with in-app credits. Ok not the end of the world… until I try to order again, gets declined. Customer support then tells me I have multiple accounts and that breaks their terms and agreements. I made my account minutes prior to ordering my food, I don’t have multiple accounts. They then tell me my account is blocked because of it and I can’t get a refund. So they oretty much robbed me.

Horrible user experience
Countless times has my family ordered a long list of items from a grocery store that were supposed to be available. We then submit the order in Wolt and our money is taken. Then when the driver starts to come to us, we get an alert that some of them items we’re not available. And that we have to wait 1 to 3 days to get our money back. Awful

This app needs lots of improvement. They still have not fixed their payment bug. Every single card I’ve tried to use has failed. The app delivers a message that says: failed to process card issue card. This is not a user issue!! Wolt—this is your problem that needs to be fixed so customers can comfortably use your service. I have been a very consistent and long time buyer. However, I’m removing this app after today and never spending a dime until they resolve this frustrating inconvenience.

The latest update has seriously damaged what used to be an easy, intuitive interface. It now feels like Wolt is trying to push non food shopping onto customers when most of us are here for one reason: food. Wolt was built around ordering meals quickly and simply burgers, fries, late night cravings not browsing for random shopping items. The new direction makes the app harder to use and less focused on what made it great in the first place. I’ve placed thousands of orders over the years, but if this shift continues and the update isn’t reversed, I’ll seriously consider switching platforms. Pl

Delivering time is terrible
I ordered food from a McDonalds that was two blocks away and was told the wait time was 30 minutes. Well when the wait time got to 19 minutes it stopped moving acting as if it would still take 19 minutes when it took almost a hour. Absolutely useless
Imagine, you place an order. A courier accepts the order and decided to add it to their queue but then delivers all their previous orders before your own. So you watch your estimated delivery fluctuates back and forth. Unfortunately you’ve already tipped this courier and support is nonexistent so you can’t change that option. If you want to wait 3 hours for your food to be delivered, you’ve come to the right app. If you want things done in a timely manner and with actual live support, try Uber Eats instead.

Defeats the whole purpose of a delivery app
I am extremely disappointed with the service from Wolt Austria. I placed an order specifically to have items delivered to my door, yet they failed to deliver part of my order. When I contacted support, their solution was to ask me to go to the store myself to exchange or pick up the items. This is completely unacceptable. The entire point of paying for a delivery app is to avoid having to go out—especially when it’s freezing outside. If I wanted to go to the store, I wouldn't have paid for the service and the delivery fees. Poor logistics and even worse customer service. I won't be using this

Always worked well in Azerbaijan but stopped working completely two nights in a row without any way to fix and no customer service. Payment failed to work with two different credit cards. I did two factor verification. Restaurant itself said it was ten app and credit card said transaction was fine. Had no dinner two nights in a row and no customer service available. I tried using this app for food delivery while visiting Albania. I entered my US card which it accepted (no option was given to include billing address) but when I tried to pay it was declined. I contacted my bank and they said the address being submitted as the card address is incorrect. Turns out Wolt was using my address in Albania as my card address and does not provide option to include specific card address. Previously, in just a tap I could browse categories like “breakfast”, “brunch”, “lunch” and so on, and immediately see a selection of restaurants with beautiful pictures. Now I only see search fields and a whole screen of ugly vector icons of super-general categories like pet food, deals, gifts. These cartoonish pictograms wind down any appetite and categories just immediately say “you’re real far from actually making an order”.
