Rude driver who intentionally validated my ticket and left me behind
When my bus arrived, the driver got off and I asked him if I could ask him a question. He said no and walked away. When he eventually returned, he scanned several tickets including mine. He let the other others on the bus but when I asked if I could board he said no. And then he closed the doors and drove away without me intentionally. I have no idea what I did other than ask him if I could ask him a question. I’m a tourist for God sake. I have questions about Travel that is unfamiliar to me. Of course I could not reach anyone with the company and had to purchase a whole new ticket.

Horrible service, scam prices, bad everything
I genuinely have never had a good experience riding with these unprofessional imbeciles. My luggage is always wrecked, the driver is always an absolutely you know what and every time I book out of state there’s an issue with my trip. Why do I have a 4 hour delay between phoenix and Tucson? When there’s other busses leaving to Tucson for 30 bucks right when my bus gets there? This company is gross I also always get sat next to people who refuse to give me my seat or should’ve bought 2 seats for the comfort of everyone.

Bus did not pick up passengers in Budapest
We bought tickets in the 135 from Budapest to Vienna. The 105 came at 1:45 and told us they could not take us. We had to wait. The 135 never came. We got two delay notifications. There are only two stands and we stayed at the stand number two that consistently had said the 135 would be here. A co-traveler later saw that the bus was marked as arriving and leaving at 2:20 and that they were on it. We paid for our tickets and didn’t get the bus ride and had to wait in three hours and try to catch another bus that we’re waiting on now. Terrible service.

If I could rate, I would rate in minus. The worst kind if bus you would ever experience. There was no coffee holders and pockets to keep your necessary items handy. I had 14hrs of trip and the fan was not working at all the whole time. The bus drivers don’t respond and a lady driver from Columbus, OH, has arrogantly egoistic attitude as she owns the customer. If you complain to the customer service chat, there are some Indians they do not know how to response, wrong spellings, wrong communication skills and huge linguistic barriers and takes a lifetime to reply. !!! THIS APP LED ME TO THE WRONG BUS PICKUP SPOT.
I have written multiple messages to this company regarding their App with no acknowledgment of problems. So I am disclosing them here. I made two FlixBus reservations last week taking me from Napoli to Pompeii and back again. The FlixBus App provided a map and location pick up for the bus that was in fact completely inaccurate because a partner bus line was being used, not FlixBus. Because of this, I missed two sets of buses and missed my tour in Pompeii. Not reliable
If you have somewhere important you need to be, DO NOT trust that they’ll be on time. If your bus gets delayed, it will go WAY LONGER than the time given without any further updates or tracking information. My bus was scheduled to leave at 4:40 then got delayed to 5:35. Hours go by it’s 8… STILL NO BUS. If you’re gonna suggest us to be at the stop 15 mins before arrival time, at least give an accurate estimate. More than half the people waiting in the beginning gave up and left because we were drenched in rain with thunder and lightning. Only use Flix bus if it’s your last resort.

Unable to change default settings
App defaults phone country to Germany and no way to change it in settings. Also defaults time displays to 24 hour clock which is common in Europe but does not allow user to set it to standard US format of 12 hours with AM/PM Then needing to scroll through long list of counties who probably don’t use flix to get down to USA. Usually it allows for seat selection which is a nice feature but today it is not allowing it for the bus ticket I purchased.

Worst Bus Booking Experience
I was so excited for my trip with my husband, we showed up 45min early to the departure time and waited in the bitter cold; everything seemed good. The bus is not gonna be labeled flixbus? No problem. The bus is on platform C? Cool. I was refreshing the bus tracking system and it seemed like the bus was going to be late. 10-15mins goes by without seeing the bus and the tracking system shows the bus has completely missed us. If I could give it no stars I would
Absolutely awful company. The timing of the trips is never right, no chargers for 9 hour+ drives, and they cancel consistently. Most of the time canceling right before the bus is supposed to leave. My last attempt at using this app they canceled my trip that was supposed to leave at 12:15 at 12:06. That is absolutely disgraceful and shows they have no regard for people. 0 explanation to the reasoning of the cancelation as well. Worst service ever
Wish i could give zero rating for this service. We family of four booked to and fro trip from Philadelphia to NY. There was no notification of delay of the bus. We waited for 2 hrs 15 mins and no sign of bus or any updates. The customer care finally refunded it as a voucher which we can use in 12 months. But we are not gonna this service in an year for sure.. there is no option to escalate or to request a refund to our account..such a horrible service. I booked a trip from ny to Boston and they never told me my gate number to be picked up at. I arrived early to Port Authority where the bus was leaving from. I had to search all over for the Flixbus area and found out there is none and to go to the Greyhound gate. When I get to the help desk there is a line of people and one agent working. Worst service ever. They steal your money!
This is the worst company I’ve encountered ever! My his was rescheduled 2 hours ahead but in the email I received one day prior to my trip still told me the bus was scheduled at the original time. So I went to the bus station on time and missed the bus. We then called the company and they told us to request refund on the website. But when we really submitted the request, they rejected our requests denying that misleading email we received one day ahead of the trip. The ticket was not very expensive, but you guys forever lost me and my friends as a customer !

Good graces
I would enjoy stating and feeling into how I’m quivering after being dropped off at the St. Louis station and missing my last bus from here to Kankakee. Despite that being my own personal mishap and failure I feel that two out the three drivers I experienced during this journey were incredibly smooth drivers, respectful to me at face value and as I said. Didn’t make me worry while driving. Most of my worry came from surrounding passengers. I met a few awesome strangers. And am emotional about parting. Thank you for your services.

FlixBus in NorCal at least use to be punctual and deliver great service. BUT NOT ANYMORE. I’ve had the bus and their customer service rep say that the bus was delayed for 30 mins, then an hour and ultimately canceled. Another time is when I booked a ride thinking it was a fluke the first time and the bus was delayed for about 20 mins. Then I booked an another ride and it was complete garbage experiences. You will regret using this company
Decided to give this company a shot which was a big mistake. I booked a trip to/from NYC from central NY and BOTH of my busses were cancelled within 24 hours of departure with no explanation. Caused me lots of unnecessary stress as I had to scramble to rebook both of my tickets in one weekend within 24 hours of when I needed to leave. Not only that, but they make you go through customer service for a refund even when they cancelled the trip with no explanation! Flix Bus gives me the most direct ride to my destination. The schedule is getting better too, with more options than a few years ago. But. The outlets for charging phones often do not work. This is important! We need our phones for our next rides! Also, it would be nice if the driver announced that there’s time to get off the bus to buy a beverage. Some drivers make useful announcements and others don’t. Some drivers are crabby. Also, there is no customer service for Flix Bus in the depot. The actual ride is fine, but the customer service is lacking.

They are a foreign company that doesn’t care about anything because American law doesn’t affect them. Do not waste your time and money!!
FlixBus was incredibly disappointing. Over the course of just one week, they rescheduled two of my bus rides without providing sufficient notice for me to adjust and reach the correct station on time. To make matters worse, the listed station locations were not always accurate, and one of my stations was even changed entirely without proper communication—I didn’t even realize they could do that. The refund policy is as good as nothing. Based on this experience, I strongly recommend public transportation instead of FlixBus.

Terrible Instructions
Instructions for pickup are completely incorrect and/or misleading, specifically for Washington DC. They explicitly say to wait in a specific line and the staff will come get you when the bus is there. Neither is true, you have to wait next to where the buses come in and no staff will come get you when the bus arrives. The bus can also be early or park in a wrong location and then leave without you, speaking from experience. My biggest lesson learned is to not follow the instructions they give you. I love public transportation but I do not like this bus.
I would recommend a lot of new things for this app. First, there should be a feature to show you where your bus currently is. I have had many situations where the bus was delayed and I didn’t know whether it was worth it to leave and come back, or just stay put in the cold. A map feature where customers can see how close the bus is would be helpful. Second, this organization should really change its 2 hour bus delay policy. Disappointing
When I first started taking buses to the Los Angeles area, it is because it was cheaper than a plane flight. I used to take megabus and boltbus. I then found out about FlixBus. It was nice to have options, but flixbus always seemed to break down or be late. Now, all we have is FlixBus and the prices are as much as Southwest airline tickets plus flix and Greyhound are connected. On august 17th I was supposed to get on a bus at 2pm from Lafayette to Chicago but when the bus arrived the driver claimed that a different bus broke down at the stop before ours and that he had picked up all of those passengers so there was no longer any room on the bus for me or the other passengers waiting at the stop with me.
