Getting worse than before
The app is giving wrong updates on order status, showing order placed for 50 mins, then showing arrives in 1-15 mins then showing order is confirmed after all this time isn’t realistic, orders taking at least 30–40 mins extra than it should take and no it’s not always peak hours and talabat riders are always on the streets during the day so it’s not lack of riders but the management or system has been changed this year to worse! I hope it recorrects soon or it will loose a lot of loyal users.

I have been a loyal Talabat customer for a long time and use the application almost daily. Unfortunately, I recently experienced an issue with my order that resulted in a loss of approximately 65 QAR. After contacting customer support and explaining the situation, the only compensation offered was a 15 QAR voucher. While I appreciate the gesture, I do not believe it fairly reflects the financial loss and inconvenience I experienced. Amazing App, Disappointing Points System
The app itself is genuinely great. it’s easy to use, reliable, and overall a smooth experience. That said, the points system feels really underwhelming. I currently have around 18,900 points saved up, but there’s barely any real incentive to use them. All of the rewards available are really small discounts (17 EGP or ~$0.32) that honestly don’t make much of a difference. they barely even cover the delivery fees! I had a very poor experience using Talabat. The customer service is highly disappointing—responses take too long, and when they do reply, they rarely offer any real solution or take responsibility for issues. On top of that, the app itself is quite unreliable and often glitchy, which makes placing an order unnecessarily frustrating. This is by far worst food delivery app I’ve ever used. Talabat has extremely poor customer service, slow responses, no real solutions, and zero accountability when something goes wrong. The app itself is unreliable and full of issues, making the whole ordering experience is frustrating. Waiting Forever for Cold Food
I am beyond frustrated with Talabat. Every single order turns into waiting, waiting, and more waiting, and when the food finally arrives, it’s ice cold and completely ruined. This is not the restaurant’s fault, the problem is clearly with Talabat’s drivers. I’ve contacted customer service multiple times, and nothing has changed. Too many marketing notifications.
As can be expected from any app, Talabat sends push notifications marketing various offers/products to increase sales. However, unlike other app, it does not provide you the option to opt out out of marketing notifications and only receive delivery updates. So you are forced to either turn off all notifications or put up with 3 to 5 spam notifications a day. I used to prefer Talabat over the other delivery apps due to the simple and clear UI. The new redesign is a step in the wrong direction. It's too cluttered. The biggest issue I have is around the ETA of the delivery. Please show me the time my food will arrive instead of a duration that never changes. Do the maths for me. It also used to be that when the driver picked up the food you'd get an exact eta. Now all I get is a 15 min duration, like between 10-25min. The UI is very frustrating and the last thing I want to feel while waiting for food is frustration.

Delivery times are all over the place, and getting in touch with customer service is next to impossible. It honestly feels like they’re using every trick in the book to delay your order. My last 10 deliveries were all over 20 minutes late. What’s worse, the food usually arrives cold, messy, or just not in a state you’d want to eat.
