FINGER WEG!
Katastrophe! Erstmal kann man gewisse Notizen nicht zu den Bestellungen hinzufügen, wie es bei anderen Lieferapps üblich ist. Trotzdem bestellt und bezahlt… Lieferzeit wird versprochen aber absolut nicht eingehalten! Nach einer ganzen Stunde über der angegeben Zeit habe ich storniert. Es heißt, ich würde mein Geld zurückbekommen, in mehreren Tagen… Bin gespannt.

I get a push notification for every stupid deal that is offered, 17 notifications of every step the driver takes with the food, but if my order was canceled by the restaurant I do not get a push notification? Really? This is the single most important notification for this evening and it should not be possible to be suppressed till it is confirmed in the app itself.

Unprofessional and unreliable, don’t use it.
It is common sense and also law, that you only pay for what you order. And not for things you didn’t order. Deliveroo is the only delivery company that doesn’t care about this. I made 3 requests in total through all contact channels and they all gave me the exact same answer: sorry we can’t help. They repeatedly let me pay for things I didn’t order and didn’t deliver what I ordered. 0 stars for this experience obviously.

App ist übersichtlich mit guter bedienbarkeit und Funktionalität. Im Vergleich zu anderen Delivery-Apps ein unterirdischer Kundenservice. Man wird irgendwann informiert, dass das Restaurant geschlossen hat nachdem man ewig gewartet hat und die Lieferzeit bis Mitternacht verschoben wurde. Man erhält auch keine Hilfe bei der Neubestellung oder einen Voucher durch den Telefondienst.

You could think this is just an other delivery app but it actually doesn’t even cover that. It always has problems when paying, order gets cancelled or lost in between. When you enter and get a message of a nice discount you can apply in your next meal, don’t get your hopes up because the purchase will state “pending” forever until you just decide to cancel it and try again, without the discount voucher of course… Tracking multiple times unavailable. Wir versuchen seit einer Stunde essen zu bestellen (Dubai) und da steht, dass das Restaurant die Zahlung akzeptieren muss. Sonst geht die Zahlung nicht durch und man kann nicht bestellen. Verschiedene Restaurants probiert, man kann nicht bestellen. Haben storniert, also Bestellung abgebrochen. Unseren Gutscheincode können wir aber nicht nochmal nutzen weil bereits benutzt?? Hotline even hung up on me claiming she „can‘t find me in the system“… funny enough they do find me when they take my money. Ich habe drei mal, mit drei verschiedenen Kreditkarten versucht zu bezahlen, da man, warum auch immer, nur mit Kreditkarte bezahlen kann... Ich musste jedes Mal die gesamte Bestellung neu machen und es hat nicht funktioniert... Wenn man hungrigen Menschen nur eine Art zu bezahlen bietet, dann sollte man zumindest sicherstellen, dass diese auch funktioniert. Fazit: Trotz 3 verschiedener Karten von VISA & Mastercard ist die App für mich nicht benutzbar.

Wenn es klappt, dann wunderbar. Bei uns hat es einmal mit Barzahlung geklappt. Bei Versuch 2 und 3 haben wir versucht verschiedene Karten zu benutzen, aber die Zahlung hat nicht funktioniert und die Bestellung war verschwunden. Dann wollten wir bezahlen, aber der Lieferjunge darf nicht mehr als 200AED Scheine annehmen, aber wir hatten nur einen 500AED Schein. Bei einer Wartezeit von 90min (!) zu riskant. Also wieder abgebrochen. Ergebnis: wir haben selbst gekocht und die app wird gelöscht.

Wenn man abends etwas bestellen möchte ist es immer recht mühsam unter gefühlt 400 Restaurants die herauszufinden, die noch geöffnet sind und die dann auch etwas akzeptables zu essen haben.
