Just a heads-up, many of the vendors are simply thieves and DHGate’s dispute process is a farce. DHGate has an available dispute process, that should tell you everything you need to know about this platform. I should have gotten the clue,, but it wasn’t until I needed to use the dispute process that I discovered the entire platform is just a conduit for thieves to take your money. The app works okay. Some of the sellers do a good job with advertising how their products are and communicate well. Shipping will take a long time. Do not waste money on paying for the insurance because some sellers will get addresses wrong and the post office will never deliver your package. The insurance claim system doesn’t work. I have about 25 orders that I can no longer see, nor track. Orders I have paid for, hundreds of dollars worth, and they are kindly ignoring me. I attempted to use a new credit card, two new cards, two times in a row. The first card declined because the bank was concerned it was a fraudulent purchase. Unfortunately, when you do come across a seller who advertises their product less than honestly, DHGate’s Dispute Resolution Team is not helpful. I recently made purchases on AliExpress and DHGate and ran into problems with both. The difference between the 2 websites is that I lost $130 with AliExpress and was never sent the product. Their site is infested with highly skilled scam artists that are impossible to spot when placing an order. So be very careful placing orders with them because if you do get ripped off, Customer Service will not help you. With DHGate, the seller sent me the wrong size item which makes it useless to me. The seller did not want to refund but DHGate stepped in and protected me by providing a full refund as well

Some of the goods sold on the app are great - some not so much - but that is normal, you will always have hit or miss products. The issue I have with this app is with the blatant lack of communication to buyers. Sellers mark items as shipped however they don’t ship the items until weeks later. When I first downloaded the app I saw so many things I did my research on and following people on IG and knowing my labels I ended up buying 5 items 12/08 and 12/09 after that I couldn’t use any credit or debit card to purchase more. I have been using this site for a little more than 3 years. I have gotten some really great articles that I still wear today that are still in great condition. However, I have gotten some items that seem like they are 5 sizes too small. Avoid the vendors that sell clothes in asian sizes. At least in my opinion.. they never fit. Overall it’s a great site.
