Access to support personnel
I am finding that access to MyChart is a tremendously helpful application. It gives me access to making lab appointments getting messages to my primary care doctor and TMC Wyatt one nursing staff I have always had good luck and fast response when I am sending messages to nursing personnel or my primary care physician, Dr. Lambert whe I have questions and problems
The staff physicians and nursing personnel are the greatest asset that TMC one has when I am not feeling well and I contact Dr. Lambert‘s office or the urgent care department. I normally get a reply back same day which is wonderful.

My complaint is not with billing , however I strongly feel your pt care services are in desperate need of help. This is simply snd upper management & administration problem. I’ve worked healthcare all of my adult life (40 plus years), I don’t know if I have ever seen the shortage this facility has where direct pt care is concerned. My time spent in the ICU goes without complaint other than I noticed it appears at the time approximately 1/3 of this area was closed off and shut down due to not enough staff to do the jobs that are required. I was later discharged to a step down PCU unit where the

She had to have rods and screws put in from her pelvis to her shoulder blades. It was a very difficult surgery that lasted six hours. We really didn’t think that she would ever be back to live a normal life again. Sign in a week after surgery she was perfect standing straight which was wonderful to see and she was pretty much pain free. Now when it came my turn I had a kink in my lower spine and I could barely walk for a year and a half plus I

Does some of what it’s supposed to some of the time
This app is something I feel I have to use but I always approach it with a sense of dread because nothing on it is ever as easy or intuitive as it should be. When I can figure out the right thing to click on or find a task I’m supposed to do (like paperwork or checking in) it more often than not has a server error and can’t do the thing. I’ve been trying all morning to check in for an appointment today and it’s let me do some parts of the check-in but has given me a server error message at least six times so that, after 4 hours of waiting and trying again, I still haven’t completed the process

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Sadia Ilyas and the entire team at UCSD McGrath Surgery Vascular. From the moment I walked in, I was met with professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. Dr. Ilyas combines exceptional medical expertise with a personal touch that immediately puts patients at ease. She took the time to thoroughly explain my condition, answer every question, and guide me through my treatment options with patience and clarity.
The staff at UCSD McGrath Surgery is equally outstanding—friendly, organized, and attentive, ensuring that every visit runs smoothly. Their dedication

MyChart apparently can’t figure out how to mark something paid. It’s only been since October 2025 trying to get an admission paid to be told payment was returned, nope not the case! The patients bank even said the money left the account but apparently the facility didn’t finish pulling from their end so the bank pulled back the money! Then we set up smaller payments with the hospital only to get a call that they had an issue there to! Um, no other business we pay has any issues, so apparently again it’s this facility! So, I next mail a physical check to this provider, they admitted in emails t

Great App
I really like this app. It has all of the necessary things I Need to access. It has options to request notes for school absences via messages, prescription refills without having to call. Medical records if you need to access anything and any notes from the doctors about your visit is in there as well. The only issues I have is that as a parent I can’t access all of my 12 year old sons info unless we are logged into his account and that’s not ideal. I feel if I’m taking him to the dr and doing all the paperwork and making all the decisions for his care I need access to all of his account. So h

My Opinion
I find that the My Chart app is confusing and doesn’t make clear and doesn’t make orders simple to find. The orders are in the past appointment area instead of in the ordered tests. Plus, there’s MyHillChart, MyHealth Online (because I use Sutter imaging for my mammograms) and your MyChart. It’s not consolidated in one Epic chart. It’s hard to navigate where to find results, message from your care team is unclear where they get sent when communicated. I had to go in and out of 3 charts to finally print out orders my Dr. set up for blood work. Does that go to Quest (which I use in Elk Grove)?

Good app, needs work
The My Chart app is useful and a step forward in sharing info with patients and families in a somewhat timely manner. A couple of smallish complaints which may or may not be the app’s fault.
First, it is an app shared by many institutions; switching between them is very cumbersome: to access Kennedy Krieger when I am in the app for Johns Hopkins, for instance, always trips me up. I am now also bringing a member of my family to INOVA, which also uses My Chart. I am not looking forward to introducing yet another institution to the mix.

“Did they get it right?”
This is a great app to have and use. It makes it possible for a patient to see what the doctor and/or their staff wrote about you and your appointment. You can read their notes and comments usually within 24 hours of your last visit. This is the patient’s opportunity to see “if they got it right”. And by ‘they’ I of course mean the people you have entrusted with your privacy and in some cases, your life. Sometimes they don’t get it right and you (the patient) should contact them and ask them why not. Or simply ask them to correct your medications, your allergies and maybe most importantly… mak

MyChart vs other epic software
I have to use epic software for work and while it’s very powerful, it is TERRIBLE to have to use on a daily basis. It is ugly, confusing and not intuitive in any way. It is software designed with other software designers in mind, not your average user that just needs to note something and move on to more important things, like working with actual people. I feel like epic designed it with “my way or the highway” as the guiding principle. I suppose there is a reason some people choose to work with machines instead of other people. I am an RN and accustomed to reading many patients’ charts over the years, but the most satisfaction I get is being able to read my own chart in total, and know exactly what my providers know. Granted, most people will not want the fine print, and if you do, your provider will explain things you may not understand, but I do not nor do I want that for myself.

For billing an appointments for an adult, the MyChart app is fine. If however, you have a minor child., The MyChart app is disgracefully and egregiously deficient. If you set up a proxy account so you can access your minor child’s medical data, including billing, it does not show up.. If you have the app installed, any attempt to go to the website gets redirected to the app. If you have a minor child, delete the app immediately and just go to the website because at least you have some non-zero chance of getting the billing information for your minor child but if you have the app installed, you

Love This App. Best Thing Ever.
I have ADHD. This app is everything I need. I hate scheduling things and making calls, sometimes it’s paralyzing for me. This app allows me to communicate with my doctor through messages rather than calling, waiting, talking to assistants, etc. I can go in and get my meds refilled in 60 seconds with a few clicks and my doc sends them right to pharmacy. I can finally look at any blood work, x-rays, any tests conducted through Corewell facilities. This allows me to research my results and better understand my own health rather than giving NPC responses to my doctor when I am really not retaining

Great App But....
"I've found this app to be highly beneficial for several reasons. Firstly, it allows me to access my test results promptly, eliminating the need to wait for a doctor's response. Additionally, it helps me keep track of upcoming and past medical appointments, as well as tests that have been conducted or are pending.

Handy health information
I love my chart. It helps me keep track of my many appointments. It makes it easy to contact my physicians no matter what Network they are in. I am also able to request and make appointments or message staff and physicians at Will I can request documentation I can even make it so that concern parties will be able to tap in and look at my information as well. It helps me keep up with all of my medications when they are due for pick up and when they are due for a new prescription. It is super easy to use and I advise any at all persons to go ahead and try it for yourself. Especially if you have

One app, many hospital systems
Being chronically ill is a challenge, and Epic makes life a tiny bit less stressful! With Epic, I don’t have to worry about this result not getting to my primary or palliative care team, when I am seeing specialist outside of their hospital system. I had to fire a surgical team, after that provider ghosted me. When I didn’t trust them anymore, I had to leave my ‘home’ hospital. Because both hospital systems use Epic, I didn’t have to worry about getting my records to my primary care team; the access was just there. With a chronic illness, that is as advanced as mine, I don’t always have a choi
