I am an RN and accustomed to reading many patients’ charts over the years, but the most satisfaction I get is being able to read my own chart in total, and know exactly what my providers know. Granted, most people will not want the fine print, and if you do, your provider will explain things you may not understand, but I do not nor do I want that for myself. I just moved away from MyChart as it seems unavailable in my new location, but the difference is night and day, yin or yang, etc. The info I need is not there, and I receive the “Lay” person’s report, which is worse than useless!
