The My Chart app is useful and a step forward in sharing info with patients and families in a somewhat timely manner. A couple of smallish complaints which may or may not be the app’s fault. First, it is an app shared by many institutions; switching between them is very cumbersome: to access Kennedy Krieger when I am in the app for Johns Hopkins, for instance, always trips me up. I am now also bringing a member of my family to INOVA, which also uses My Chart. I am not looking forward to introducing yet another institution to the mix.
