Order Problems
Can’t customize what’s on a breakfast burrito but able to if it’s a breakfast sandwich and IT’S THE SAME INGREDIENTS for both! Why is that?! Please fix this! All sandwiches and burritos or any means really should be customizable in the app because I can go in person and order how I want it and they ring it up like that and make it. I don’t see the issue with why you decided to restrict this and on just one item, which leads me to think it’s just an overlooked bug.
Not being able to submit an order at 10:25AM (5 min before breakfast ends) is absolute junk! There is nothing wrong with that

I just got home from Wendy’s. Once again, it was a very disappointing trip. It was during the dinner hour so I expected them to be fully stocked. Nope. They had NO baked potatoes AGAIN. Almost every time I go there they are short or out of them completely. If you’re not going to have them, then take them off your site menu! Worst fast food app
When I put in my order I specifically chose a location different than the app was suggesting. Unbeknownst to me, when I went to check out and place the order the app switched me back to its original location, the next town over from where I was intending to place the order. When I drive the extra 24 minutes to get there because there’s no in app way to cancel an order and just place it at the one I just drive to, when I get to the one the app wants me to order from they initially tell me that they can’t find my order. This is why I didn’t want to order at that location. They are horrible. Fix

Great app, till there is a problem.
I use this app pretty regularly and never had a problem, until one night the Wendy’s I ordered from couldn’t complete my order, they were out of multiple things. When I asked them to just cancel the order, they said I had to do it in the app, but I couldn’t find anywhere to do it.
The chat feature is nice I was able to get help, except for the fact that it doesn’t automatically give them my details to help find my order, I have to back out of chat, get details and start a new chat from scratch. The customer service person was nice and said I’d get a refund when the franchise issued it.

Wendy’s used to have the best app in the industry; under the new CEO, they almost immediately plummeted to the absolute worst. Every good deal, every BOGO promo was yanked off the platform, but wait! You mean I can now save $1 (a whole DOLLAR!!) off a $14 combo?? Wowww, now I can buy that pair of shoelaces I’ve been saving up for!

The app places delivery orders through DoorDash. The one time I tried to place a delivery order, it glitched and said transaction couldn’t go through. So naturally I went to order it again. Turns out they both went through! I call the designated number within 2 min, to ask DoorDash to cancel at least one of the orders. They can’t do anything, and do nothing. APP Needs Work - Delivery Option Blows
I use the app a lot to order food but my biggest complaint is that the menu is different for delivery versus takeout. Stop limiting delivery options. The party pack nuggets needs to appear with the delivery option as it does with the drive thru or take out option. Same restaurant but limiting what I can have delivered is a deal breaker. I like to use food apps, in general, because it makes the process of ordering food easier; however, Wendy’s app has the most tweaks that need to be made. It’s simple stuff, but affects my ordering process. For example when I order the Cheeseburger Meal Deal (my daughter’s favorite) it doesn’t allow you to choose “no ice” there’s no ice option at all for this meal. I ordered a triple cheeseburger with bacon, a spicy chicken sandwich, and a 10 piece spicy nuggets I asked for the nuggets to be fresh and hot and yes, they cooked them up and did a good job with that. • Changing mode of pickup after “payment” is a nightmare because it is not only confusing but requires payment all over again and cancellation of the change would cancel the pre-existing “paid” order.

this app is a testament to patients and the passion of the human spirit to just want to accomplish something. The amount of time that someone has to put in to learn this app in order to either teach to other customers or managers is ridiculous. The website would get a much better rating from me if it would actually work right! Every time I try to complete & pay for my order, I get a message that something went wrong. Then even if I change my order or add something else to it, I still get the same message. I’ve got my account set up properly, so why would it keep stalling out at the end of the order?
