All I have heard about is how Apple and Microsoft have failed spectacularly in the AI race—that CoPilot has no sales, not utility, etc. Bit after using CoPilot for the past week across Outlook, Excel and Word, I am truly impressed. I can’t believe ChatGPT had Microsoft as a founding capital / strategic partner and didn’t develop integrated Office 365 AI capabilities. What more can be said, then yall add other models like Opus 🤯. Copilot is Fast, accurate, and a true help to my workload. If you are a 365 organization you are doing you self a disservice if you don’t have Copilot for 365 for your employees. Any industry and you essentially are proficient and have 80% knowledgeable on any topic really quickly. I really recommend this! Great for editing Word Documents and Excel Documents to make them look professional while preserving the integrity of the data! Well done, and I prefer this WAY OVER the regular consumer Copilot app. If you have a Business Basic or Standard License through the company you work for, I recommend using this anyways (but ensure the privacy is intact with your IT Department if your license is issued through the company you work for because the data can actually be chosen to be private or not based on your IT Department polices). This is not the full version . It is set up like it can handle things, and tells you it can. But no. I tried for three days to do a simple task of merging attendance data from an Excel document made by synergy into a calendar that tracks student hours across different class periods and different days of the week. Over and over i adjust prompts, revised directions, and was never able to get the output I wanted. Microsoft seems to be competing with Apple in the "let's change things, not because it's useful, or desirable, but because we can" model of software development. Screw usability. My job uses Microsoft and I have a paid M365 account for our small business but this app is now completely useless. It no longer is the place to access all your documents. It’s just another AI chat… but inferior to the free version. Does more bad than good
Microsoft 365 Copilot, just like any of ai software on the market is extremely harmful to the environment. In 2025 alone, AI released as much CO2 as New York City. By the year 2050 we will be out of fresh clean water thanks to it being used to cool the computers, messing up the natural water cycle and leaking microplastics into our water. This AI software like many others does not share with the user the negative effects of the system. In my opinion this is harmful as many consumers are not aware of the harmful effects of AI usage. I have been using, or better stated, attempting to use Microsoft 365 Copilot for 30 days. My results to say the least have been grossly inconsistent. I will often time to ask for the same information daily and get different information. I have set up an agent and provided specific directions that I want her to follow. If you want to be hassled by Copilot every time you write something, then 365 Word is for you. Also, free bonus, it won't stop showing you the spacing with little stars when you type sentences, and, for an extra added feature, it wants to turn everything you write in your story into some version of office edict. Forget about creating content. It's seeking minimum words per sentence, no enthusiasm, no beats, and don't you dare try to use "very cool" when cool is what you should be writing for office memos. I’ve tried to work with this M365 Copilot on iPad for a while now since the update from Microsoft 365, but it is not feasible for me anymore. I don’t want to use Copilot and I do not need Copilot. M365 Copilot does not allow quick easy access to my recent files. I have to save in Apple Files for quicker access, then have it open in M365 Copilot. As a new user, my experience is limited, but I have learned a lot. It is very good at researching purchases taking into account user specifications and parameters. Recently though I experienced unacceptable recall when Copilot says the conversation has been saved. Very disappointing so print information if it is meaningful to you and not rely on Copilot. I tried using it to help create a resume. I was surprised at how it used my files and easily and quickly extracted data. For some reason it wouldn’t allow me to open files it was creating but suggesting copy and paste them but they weren’t working like clicking a hyperlink. So I had to ask it to populate the entire document it then copy and paste it. It also suggested I take a photo when using the app for a different reason, installing a threshold, but there is no camera icon or “paper clip” to access my photos.

Highlighting
It would be cool if you could change the color of the highlighting on an iPad. I use it a lot for writing reports so that requires a lot of research and reading and highlighting. Which is great, I find this product perfect for that purpose. However, there doesn’t seem to be any way on an iPad to change the color of the highlighting. Every update makes this app worse. I don’t want Copilot. I don’t want AI garbage, period. Since the latest update I can’t make changes to documents on my phone. So now the app is absolutely worthless to me. still no fix to convert pictures to PDF. When adding pictures copilot tries to detect what I want in the picture not the whole picture.
