Microsoft 365 Copilot, just like any of ai software on the market is extremely harmful to the environment. In 2025 alone, AI released as much CO2 as New York City. By the year 2050 we will be out of fresh clean water thanks to it being used to cool the computers, messing up the natural water cycle and leaking microplastics into our water. This AI software like many others does not share with the user the negative effects of the system. In my opinion this is harmful as many consumers are not aware of the harmful effects of AI usage. AI is an excuse for laziness and promotes blatant plagiarism.
