Forced to log in again when searching flights - poor user experience
Latest app update forces you to log in every single time you want to search for flights - even if you check off save my info. I’m already logged into the app so why do I need to log in when searching for flights! This is time consuming and frustrating. It’s now better to use your website than your app. Please consider reverting the latest changes to the flight search.

Calendar add doesn’t work and they change seat w/o notice
They change your aircraft then wont allow you to change random seat they selected for you. 2 hrs customer service JetBlue time has passed don’t waste your money JetBlue will not add your flight info to the calendar if your settings are “add event” only. They want full access to your entire calendar all personal events, period tracker, anything in your calendar they want full access just to add your flight info. At a time when it’s clear any private info companies obtain is sold for profit it’s worth it to manually add your flight info. Do not give access and JetBlue please fix this

When it works, it’s great!
When the app works, it’s great! Booking, managing, customer support, all excellent! My issue is the app seems to get updates often which is great but I then have to constantly re-log in. Many times, I go through a multi-step sign in for security reasons (again, great for privacy) and after submitting codes to log in, it brings me right back to the log in screen. I go through the same two step process to sign in and still nothing. It’s mostly when trying to access my TrueBlue rewards. Please fix this issue.

Awful redesign
Flying JetBlue almost since the beginning. Used the app long as it's been around. This redesign with 'core' and 'mint' in big boxes and no more view of flight availability the days before and after... why?! The app was designed well. It worked and was easy to use. Now it is redesigned and it's more difficult for your customers. Now I have to go out to look at other days and in a single day the multiple flights are no longer in view which made it easier to gage what would work best. Passport Scan Issue
I don’t know what all of these other people are talking about as the app works reasonably well and I’ve used it several times flying Jetblue. There is a problem however. The last two times I have tried to scan my passport using the app to check in, it takes a picture and says uploaded and gives me a green check mark but it doesn’t stick. I end up having to show my passport at the airport. If I check in on the website however, it does work and scans and saves my passport just fine.

No longer works on older iPhones
Since the update that now requires iOS 17 or later, this app is now nearly impossible to get working on iPhone 8, as you are constantly blocked from checking your flight information or trying to use it by a notification of “Update Available” that you will never be able to get past. A sizable portion of people still use iPhones that can not update to iOS 17, so this is not considerate to those who are trying to get their boarding pass or otherwise keep up with the time-sensitive information that comes with trying to catch one’s flight.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience on JetBlue Flight 2065 due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of flight attendant Sherrill. New update made it glitchy
The recent update made this app very glitchy. I fly enough that I have priority security. Before when you checked in, you could send the boarding pass to your wallet and it would have the arrows indicating priority security. Now there is no way to do this and the boarding pass doesn’t show the arrows. I had to get cleared by customer service. The whole point of priority security is to save me time but this update has had me running around the airport. This is the only thing wrong with the app. Otherwise I love the convenience of it.

No idea why people are complimenting/complaining about JetBlue in this app section. But anyways... No need to print a boarding pass. Just show or place screen-to-screen at airports from the app. It even leaves it up for you! So convenient and it actually works. You can also check in and track your upcoming flight. On June 25, 2024, our party of 6 was traveling Jet Blue from Punta Cana to Boston, with a layover at JFK. 24 hours before our departing flight, I checked the 6 of us in via the Jet Blue app. I saved the boarding passes to my Apple wallet. When we arrived at the Punta Cana airport the morning of our flight, we printed our luggage tags with our bags going to Boston. Whenever I’m searching for new flights, the app takes a really long time to populate flight times and prices. It’s even worst when you’re trying to make small edits to a flight search. In addition to making the app faster, I wish the app makes it easier to view and compare economy vs Mint flight prices and improve switching between currency and points. Unlike other airline apps, this thing is so bad it doesn’t keep track of my reservation associated with my account. I hit my trips and it can’t give it until I enter the reservation number. App today only gave us initial leg of our flight for boarding passes. I was concerned about this so contacted JetBlue through chat. This feature works well. Seems to ignore initial privacy requests and not robust against corner cases
Reinstalled app and first thing it asks is if I want various tracking options enabled, and if one says “no tracking” the pop up window request goes away, but it seems like one needs to still allow tracking on another screen just to move forward. Coercive? Also had horrible time deleting payment info that was corrupted and would no longer load into the app. It prevented me from being able to book trips online, both with browser and app! My wife and I tried to book a flight from JFK to PBI and the app would not load the page for seat selection. We tried on both our phones and waited numerous minutes for the page to load. The app is terrible; crashes, freezes; bugs; returns “no flights” results when there are tons of flights on the website, at the exact same second. Also, if you look at many of the “5-star” reviews, the actual content is saying that JetBlue/the app is TERRIBLE. How are these showing up as “5 stars” when even right in the app store you can see that these are NOT positive reviews? It’s disappointing that a cup of water is given to hit the baby bottles while the baby scream for her bottle and making the flight experience horrible Please come up with another method of hearing the baby bottles more quickly lose points for that. This is not a true app. The user experience does start with the appearance of a true integrated app, but when you select any option it merely opens a mobile web browser inside the app to work within. Load times are long and it’s hard to find information (like how many checked bags and carryons are allowed with your fare). It is ultimately an app that fronts for a slow mobile web browser. I’ve also yet to find a way to log out of the app, as I’ve selected the various menu options and have yet to find the option to do so.

AVOID THIS APP AT ALL COSTS
If you decide to fly JetBlue, buy your tickets on a computer browser. I bought plane tickets this morning over the app and it didn’t go through so I tried it again and it told me there was an issue with my banking institution, which was wrong. It ended up going through and it charged me, but I never got a confirmation email so I had to call JetBlue and their customer service is terrible. the customer service representative told me that the charges for my checked bag and reserved seat didn’t go through even though it charged my bank the full amount. She told me I would have to give her my card

Constipated Airline Can’t Unload
Last JetBlue flight from LAX via a JetBlue connection departed 15min early, stranding about 35 passengers in LAX till 3:30AM. That was about a year ago and I decided to try it again due to a scheduling constraint. Boy was that a huge mistake. Does what it’s supposed to do but I mean jeez. It’s been the same app for many years. No changes. It works but it’s clunky for a large billion dollar corporation. This would be next level if the iphone just came out in 2008 but today it’s a little dated. 2nd review, 2024 Was just asked again about this app and I’ll just have to leave my previous quote alone. Trip to Punta Cana
Arrived at the airport in Punta Cana . Went to get our free insider to bring us to our hotel and had us booked at the wrong hote. Took over 40 minutes to get a ride. 2 days before leaving Punta Cana we call to make arrangements for a ride from the hotel to the airport and once again they still had us listed at the wrong hotel.
