On June 25, 2024, our party of 6 was traveling Jet Blue from Punta Cana to Boston, with a layover at JFK. 24 hours before our departing flight, I checked the 6 of us in via the Jet Blue app. I saved the boarding passes to my Apple wallet. When we arrived at the Punta Cana airport the morning of our flight, we printed our luggage tags with our bags going to Boston. We had no problems with using our electronic boarding passes for the first flight to JFK. At JFK, we quickly got through customs, then we waited over an hour for our luggage that had to be re-checked before we could get on our flight
