Paid for leads, received none then - charged to cancel

One of the worst platforms I’ve ever used. I have a business account, and the leads I receive are consistently low quality. Most of them don’t respond to calls or messages, which makes it very difficult to convert any work. Customer support has also been extremely disappointing. Once you’re committed to a 12-month plan, it feels like there’s little to no effort to help you succeed or improve your results. Fake Leads and Lead Prices Double Thumbtacks

Once you learn how the algorithm works you can control the fake leads better but the lead prices are more than double other lead platforms. If you get an automatic lead refund you know for sure it was a fake lead. They use to give you 3 guaranteed credit refunds but they stopped after they merged with Home Advisor. Angies has went down hill and I don’t really use it at all anymore because there are better lead platforms. I see Angies fading out overtime because it’s quality on lead vetting has went way down. The first month of Angi was awesome we made great money and really felt like we were going places. After the first month we went all of winter with no leads except for 1 which was a small job and not even profitable with the amount of money Angi is charging us. This platform is for those who like beating a dead horse, contacting customers who have already responded to other pros who got the same lead as you, and about 7 out of 10 will ghost you and not respond at all to any contact. I had an account with these thieves for 13 years. It was fine until they had a glitch in their system. I paused my leads, which means I should not receive them or be billed for them, but continued receiving leads until my monthly budget was over triple my set amount.
