Angi’s list is notorious for sending you and 6-10 other contractors the same lead! I had 20% of the “leads” I was given turn out to be fake with the remaining 80% of leads being fought between 6-10 other contractors. This is a predatory business model, they don’t care if you don’t get the job. They’ll charge you for the lead whether or not you get the job and when you try to reach out to the client, they’ll rudely turn you away because they’ve been spamm
