The NYT has fine writers, but has a default bias against everything that Trump does. I find this tiresome and shallow. Geopolitics are never black and white. Great events of history are debated 200-300 years later. Example: Was Napoleon good or evil? It would be great to see a one paragraph rebuttal after your more opinionated articles. Don’t your editors ever challenge writers to think as individuals? Let us see the NYT platform for a better America that would really help the poor, defend against China, provide employment & economical health care, educate our young as well as Asian countries,

Quality journalism but …
I cannot understand why the business folks at NYT make cancelling a subscription or changing credit card details so difficult. They actually require you to speak to a live agent - no options online. To make things worse, there isn’t a toll-free number to call from most countries. So, you have to pay to cancel or change credit card details. Terrible customer service!!!

They kept charging me for 5 months after confirming cancelation
5 month ago, I canceled my subscription through chat after 2-week of subscribing with them. It is through chat because they do not let you cancel through automatic process. The person asked me over and over again if I wanted to cancel, and BTW, he also offered me a lower price to get me to stay! I insisted to cancel and he confirmed. However, when I noticed that I have been charged for 5 months today, I was very upset demanded a refund. They said they have no record of cancelation, and hence they cannot give me the refund. Unable to load images
Recently I became a NYTimes subscriber and downloaded this app. However the images in each article are never visible unless I tap on each one to open it and allow it to load, which does so at an agonizingly slow rate. I tweaked my phone and tablet settings multiple times to try to fix this but to no avail. No issue with loading images if I access the Times through any web browser. Conclusion: useless app that I’ve uninstalled.

Won’t let me cancel subscription
I made the mistake of subscribing for the New York Times through their website. Not only do I incur a foreign currency fee from my credit card, I am also unable to set up an appointment with their call Center staff just to cancel my subscription. I originally wanted to switch to paying through Apple instead because it charges in my local currency, but at this point I want nothing to do with NYT anymore. The app also has too many ads and too many breaking news notifications. Sport scores are definitely not breaking news for people who haven’t subscribed to it. I would pay for an ad free option.
