Won’t let me cancel subscription
I made the mistake of subscribing for the New York Times through their website. Not only do I incur a foreign currency fee from my credit card, I am also unable to set up an appointment with their call Center staff just to cancel my subscription. I originally wanted to switch to paying through Apple instead because it charges in my local currency, but at this point I want nothing to do with NYT anymore. The app also has too many ads and too many breaking news notifications. Sport scores are definitely not breaking news for people who haven’t subscribed to it. I would pay for an ad free option.

Repetitive
Supposed to have a secret but really, besides the repetitive gameplay, the secret is just a boring convoluted puzzle. Novel premise and gameplay mechanic

Not very fun
Game Dev Story took at least 10 hours of my life, but I stopped playing hot springs story after just a few, became more tedious than fun to complete the game. Complex rather than fun. Art is really much richer though. Progress takes very long and when yu play the game yu dont really get the sense that you are progressing, ie little feedback, unclear metrics, etc. Also, for an iphone game it lacks basic features like autosave when you switch out of the app, fast switching, achievements. Theres also a bug where u can see the mouse cursor sometimes. Get GDS instead.

The game doesn't look like much but once you start playing you cant stop. And even it's the same each time I've replayed it twice. Scow are tabulated at year 20, be warned!

Finely Tuned Tower Defence
It's actually a pretty typical tower defence, but the presence of all the traditional elements (towers for mazing, towers for splash, towers for massive damage) without any minor/major nuisances (e.g. weird towers that don't work, levels that don't scale well, etc.) makes for a solid game that feels worth the price (especially since its discounted from $4.99 atm!). My only complaint is the inability to play with partial sound (ie. Ngmoco's Mazefinger lets u play your own music with in-game sounds) and the need to pass certain requirements to unlock maps (i paid for the game why shouldn't I get
