It is actually crazy to me that this app is ran by the largest sport organization in the world. My family and I are trying to navigate through the different tabs and the simplest of features are missing. There is literally no was to go back to a page. It keeps crashing and it just got too much going on for the poor organization it has.

Anything with filters is not intuitive. Developers to pay more attention to the loss of user filters eg. getting filters lost once to go back to a list. This must be more widely tested for real world experience!

I just downloaded the app today and it works well but I noticed a couple things that went wrong and made me frustrated: when you try to type or do something that involves zooming in or something you can’t scroll up or down and often you can’t get out of the text box. Where are my tickets?
I purchased tickets to WC 2026 in January, got the confirmation email and a $700+ charge on my card. Their site says tickets would be available no earlier than May. We’re halfway through May and I have had absolutely zero luck finding my tickets. I’d like to just see them and know they’re there, why are tickets you charged me for in January still not viewable for the match less than a month out? No clear answers on their site and trying to contact a support person is impossible. Where are my tickets???

FIFA has made the process of purchasing World Cup tickets incredibly expensive, frustrating, and difficult. The app crashed after I waited over 7 hours to get last minute tickets. Needless to say, I don’t have any tickets and I’ve wasted a full day watching the app. No way to get help at all and zero response from the jokers at FIFA Who are running this absolute clown show.

Not a good UI/UX
Not a good UI/UX especially when tens of millions are accessing the site. Once a fan is logged into their account it should be easy to access tickets purchased or transferred. I was barely able to find how to accept WC tickets transferred to me! I had to go to the help menu for instructions. FIFA makes transferring tickets too complicated. They need to have a link called transfer/accept tickets once you’ve logged into your account. Not making fans have to go on a scavenger hunt to find tickets purchased or transferred to them! Hard to see your tickets
It is very difficult to see the tickets you have purchased. You need to navigate through Marketplace, and go through 4-5 clicks and an email validation (eventhough you are already logged in!). This is a poor customer experience because it is full of friction and uncertainty. They should know their customers better: after spending thousands of dollars on a ticket, the first thing you want to do is to see it (and quickly), to get peace of mind. Seeing your purchased tickets should be a one-click experience from the home screen.

Like are we serious? We’re talking about an app of one of the biggest organizations in the world and they cannot practical no home button no back button no zoom at a picture of games brackets for example it’s so annoying every time on something you have to close the whole app for you to over again it’s kind of embarrassing. Terrible User Interface
For an official app, I would expect significantly better. The user interface is terrible. There’s not even a ‘back’ button. Once you tap on something from the home page, you have to close out the app and reopen to get back. It’s clear that very little effort has been put into the development and upkeep of an app by a multi Billion dollar company. The 200MB of space is wasted on my phone with this app. Do better FIFA.

The app feels disrespectful of my time and attention. A long, pointless animation plays every time I bring up the app. It doesn’t remember what page I was last looking at. It dribbles out the the group standings out in several pages. If I tap on a team name, when I return, the group standings have collapsed again. Same for the list of matches on the home page. Poorly executed
Takes a long time to download with all the unnecessary graphics that play twice before anything actually loads. Can’t find Group info, all the critical info like team and player stats, are buried in all kinds of other crap. And super slow to load. The UI was intended for marketing and not for actually use for anyone genuinely interested in the game - which makes it frustrating to use and makes it unusable. If you do an App search for Women’s World Cup, another app will come up with much more streamlined features. I recommend that one.

Mixed up dates and times
The app mixes up date and time in trying to show the matches in local time - creating major confusion. While times are shown in local times, dates remain that of the match venues making the schedule really inaccurate and confusing. No feature to set the times to match venues. Hope these are basic stuff for a global organization. This has been fixed now - thanks. It misses basic features like points table. Another basic feature!!

Can't get match info
Whenever I tap a match on the home screen the app hangs infinitely on an empty page with a loading gif. There's no way to dismiss this screen. The app has to be force unloaded and reopened. Then the user has to endure the long splash screen again. I don't know if any features work because I don't have time to force-unload the app and wait for through the splash screen in order to try them all.

Some Parts Okay
A lot of the ideas for the app are good but they’re not implemented well. The “next matches” feature only shows one match at a time now (used to be great and show that days matches) and at times will only show the score from the last game played and nothing else so the user has to search around to find it. The games are fun but once you open the tab there’s no back button (that in could find) so closing and reopening is the only option to go between different options. It absolutely boggles my mind that a page designated solely for Group Tables doesn’t appear anywhere. I did manage to see the tables on another page when I happen to scroll down quite a bit. It seems ridiculous that there is a link on the app for FIFA video game but not for an ongoing tournament data such as a Group table. To make matters worse, when one puts the word “Table” or “Tables” in the search bar, nothing comes up! Seriously folks, who puts this stuff together?? Are they football fans? Doubt it.

Fix the times!
As other reviews have noted the match times are not accurate. The time is correct or the date is wrong. Or the date is correct and the time is wrong. Or maybe the date and time are wrong. Who knows. Because the whole reason I downloaded this was to know when matches are in my local time, and without BOTH of those bits of info being correct it’s literally useless. Also info could be arranged a little better. I shouldn’t have to scroll past like 8 pages of “content” to check the group standings…
