Once your reservation is completed, your trip will automatically be added to the My Trips section. MY TRIPS Keep track of your upcoming trips, view all flight details and updates, and access useful features at the right time, such as: • Seat selection and purchase • Check-In • Baggage allowance • Upgrade list • Standby list You can also complete traveler information in advance to speed up your check-in process, pay for reservations made with PriceLock, and request an upgrade to Business Class. CHECK-IN Save time at the airport in just a few steps by checking in from the comfort of your home. Access your boarding pass directly from the app whenever you need it. CONNECTMILES Sign in to your ConnectMiles account to view trips associated with your profile and check your bonus miles balance, status qualification progress for the next year, and recent activity. You can also quickly access your ConnectMiles card. It’s Good…But Still Has Issues
Overall, I tend to go for the app rather than the website. For the most basic of things, the app is great. However, it is absolutely terrible if you want to change your itinerary. I’ve tried multiple times on different trips and I end up having to call Copa to get everything fixed. The last time I tried to change an itinerary (return flight one day earlier than what I booked), the app messed up my itinerary so bad that my flight wasn’t even showing up anymore (which lead to a 45 minute call with Copa). And in this day and age it should be easy for them to make an iPad app. Overall I like Copa

Impossible to delete account
Once again, another company that makes it nearly or completely impossible to delete your account and personal data. Vampires. Apple has also failed, yet again, to validate the account deletion flow. The “delete account” link in the app simply navigates you to a page where you’re instructed to email them (and where they ask for a scanned copy of your passport or drivers license to validate you, a massive privacy risk). I emailed them the requested info, sans scanned ID, and immediately received and auto reply saying that a form needs to be filled out and that the email isn’t sufficient. Fools.

Nice overall experience
The app is really nice compared to web. The login is a mess on the web, that problem isn’t here. Despite that, I found a bug when the app shows flight time. If the arrival time is somewhere between the 12am to 1am, the app only calculates the difference in minutes, not in hours, resulting in flight times of 30min between PTY and IAD

Seat Selection doesn’t work
I’m trying to check in and it doesn’t look like they actually tested on an iPhone 15 pro. The next button is below the screen and there’s no way to scroll to it. This effectively means you cannot check in to fly on an iPhone. This makes the app 100% useless.

My god what a frustrating app AND website. Tried to book a flight from Aruba to Havana for the whole family, this takes a while as they’re asking for all the passengers information, and to select seats on all 4 flights. Lastly, before asking for payment information, the session restarts because of ‘technical difficulties’. The same on the website. I remember I booked back in 2019, and it was no better. DO BETTER!

The Problem is User Error
I see a lot of people making the same complaints, but this is 100% user error. The reason people are having an issue with this app is because you have a 3rd party VPN installed on your phone and it is activated. Your phone already has a VPN and it is more harmful than good to use another app for VPN protection. Delete your 3rd party VPN’s and use the default one on your phone and this app works flawlessly.

The worst service, not care for their passengers
We have a connection flight that stopped late in Panama because the weather conditions Punto so we lost the connecting flight, The Personal in the airport didn’t help more than 100 people that lost the connection fly to all the countries and we get left behind we not assistant and no help for the persons in the counter in a foreign country for Overnight for more than 17 hours. When I selected my seat (23D) through the app, the physical ticket at the Panamanian airport printed 23F. I did not receive a notification if my seat was moved. Also, my digital tickets always show terminal 2 but the physical ticket shows terminal 1 at the Panamanian airport. It happens that my flights take off from terminal 1.

This started months, maybe a year ago: the website and the app are a waste of time. You can’t get reservations done, the option to do flexible date search is no longer available… I am forced to either use a third party or call (with a surcharge) to place a reservation. 1. Major issue is when the app informs you of the wrong terminal. 1 hour before it still indicates I’m in wrong terminal. 2. Luggage information leaves you wondering whether you should go pick your bag up for connecting flight. Which means you have to go through immigration to get your luggage on my case. It should tell you to pick up or not, and not have to determine if it’s a Interline baggage. But major issue it never updates with basic info like Terminal and gate. Duplicate charges and poor customer service
I was purchasing a trip via this app when it suddenly stopped working. I had to force quit the app and proceded to trying again. The screen at the end of the transaction kept “loading”. Force quit again and at the third time I open the app the two tickets appeared as purchased. I was charged for the same ticket twice ( including same seats ). I called their customer service center and spoke to Marcos who was very kind and told me since I was calling during the 24 hr window period that there shouldn’t be any problem with the refund and he instructed me to cancel the ticket via their website.

App kept populating with information for other travelers in my group and there was no way to change it. Additionally, with no chat or help function the errors are unfixable. Mean Spirit towards foreigners
I wish I could let the whole world know how mean they are to non Spanish or foreign nationals so everybody can stay away from this airline. I wasn’t able to board a flight because I was a day into the 6 month window of my passport expiration which I understood even though wasn’t aware I took that blame. iPhone login impossible
Contrary another reviewer, I can’t log my account in from iPhone. And curiously I found it worked fine from iPad. On my iPhone, the App shows “the information you provided does not match our records”. However, using Safari from iPhone does not complain about info provided. Summarizing, uninstall it and reboot, and install it again did not fix it.

Where do I start?
After trying to change my seats/pick my seats and pay extra money which I do not have a problem with. The app and the website have locked me out and said I’ve used up all the chances I have to change I never know where they gonna put me then. It’s absolutely insane that they cannot take my money to change seats. I get the same message every time credibly frustrating

Hot Garbage
You cannot sign in on the app. After resetting my password, it just takes you to the website, a crappy mobile version. Furthermore, once there, you’re reservations are unattainable or viewable. The links under the hamburger menu do not work. My cat makes better quality stuff in his litter box.

Latest update removes Pax data
Previously, in the current reservation, under your name, you could access all your stored data. Passport, TSA Pre/Global Entry, etc. Now it’s gone. So if for instance your passport info is not in your reservation, there is no way you can fix this. Overall, the app is still a great disappointment, lagging far behind other Airline apps in almost every way.

Useless and garbage
This app doesn’t allow me to check in and it’s useless there’s no customer service available. It asked for my flight number the ticket number and when I put it in it says your flight is operated by “ a partner airline “ check in with them…. No it’s specifically operated by copa airlines and the app can’t find my reservation and check me in… I’ll just do it the old fashion way by talking with a human in person.

Cannot Sign In to App on iPad
I have been trying to sign in to the app and sometimes it will let me in but the majority of the time it gives me a red box that states that the login info I am using is not recognized. Yet I use the same login in on my iPhone and on my Mac. I have uninstalled the app on my iPad, powered off/on my iPad and still it does not work. If I am able to log in, the app is good…. Also, clicking App Support takes you to Copa’s website and there is no options for Technical Support. The contact information is only for reservations, problems with ConnectMiles, etc. but not support for applications.

This app is terrible. It has many glitches. It has me enter my information over and over again and stays on the loading screen for what seems like forever. The whole point of apps is making it easier to navigate than the website, this experience is beyond frustrating. I never write reviews and I simply had to this time because I could not believe an app could be this terrible.

The worst app and airline
You can’t print boarding passes with this airline even though you can print boarding passes with every other airline that exists at the little kiosks, you have to stand in line even when you’re not checking any bags. The app never works. The digital boarding pass gives you a big red error message every single time. Simply the worst.

It’s come a long way
This app has come a long way. I just wish they added baggage tracking info or some way to search what carousel it’s at but honestly it was really easy to use and the GUI was pretty good.
