Decent but missing important feature
Does most of what I need it to do. Crowd meter seems a bit off. 3 bars out of ten, yet every treadmill was occupied. Tracking time spent in exercises is nice. But that leads to the major missing feature. While I can record time spent in various activities, there is only a generic activity for ‘weightlifting’, and you can record time and brief notes. What I would like is to be able weight/reps/notes for individual pieces of equipment. That way I can track my progress. Sure there are other apps I could use, but it would be most convenient to have it in one place.

A Planet Where You Can Work Out Anytime
After more than 30 years as a member of 24 Hour Fitness, I decided to make a change due to ongoing concerns about facility cleanliness and the fact that many locations were no longer operating 24 hours as originally promised.
Since joining Planet Fitness, I have been impressed by the value and overall experience. The membership is more affordable, the facilities are consistently clean, and the hours better fit my schedule. Good but could be better
I absolutely love the app for their videos and templates for structured work outs. However, I think they should have an option to customize or build your own program in the app. This would allow people to adjust workouts to their needs/goals. I also think they’d benefit from providing a section or working with other apps like Yuka to provide recommendations for healthier eating habits when shopping as well as meal preparation.
I also think they’d benefit should have a community blog situation based on each home gym so you can connect with people looking for workout buddies or trainers.

I contemplated joining for a very long time before deciding to finally join. As my kind of job takes me everywhere across town, I was impressed to see a location almost everywhere I roamed, but I never really worked out since I joined. Payment issues and issues with planet fitness

The 30 minute express workout zone
People have no clue, generally, that those apparatuses aren’t Easy Chairs for them to sit, read their phone, then pump a little iron. The word Express should mean something to them…but it doesn’t.
Ya don’t go in there to not build muscle but to tone. Less weight, more reps. When the light turns green you, uh, go! And red means stop. Then you move to the next apparatus.

Worth the Price
PF is absolutely worth the $10 per month I was paying for several years. I upgraded to the $25 per month plan so I can bring my wife or daughter each time I go. The gym I attend is large, clean, and is a newer stand-alone building. My only real issue has to do with the other patrons that will not wipe down machines after using them, and the lack of any employees holding others to the rules. I know, I know, I’m a grumpy old man. But I wipe down each machine before and after using meanwhile Buford has on jeans and a grease covered shirt and doesn’t clean up anything. It’s more of an annoyance. T

Best Gym Experience
I’ve been to many different gyms throughout my life and a lot of them are good but PF is spectacular! I recently upgraded my membership to the black card for $10 more after years of going to this place thinking I would never use the amenities and machines because it sounded gimmicky but I took an afternoon off to just check them out and I’ve been mind blown ever since. You literally make your money back from the first tanning sesh alone. They have modern equipment and they all look clean and well maintained. Best part is there are never any long lines ever.

Crowd Meter Needs to be FIXED
I am an employee at a busy Planet Fitness location, which consistently experiences high member traffic. Despite this, the app’s crowd meter frequently displays only one or two bars, which is highly inaccurate. Our gym remains active and well-occupied throughout most of the day, and as a 24/7 facility, an accurate crowd meter is crucial.

I am beyond done with Planet Fitness and their completely unreliable billing system. A company of this size should have payment options available 24/7, 365 days a year, no excuses. This month, my PF app showed NO payment due until next month—all day long. No alerts, no notifications, no draft attempts. I checked my bank account and there was ZERO activity from Planet Fitness.

Happy with my membership
Overall, very pleased with my membership. Decent amount of machines and weights. Lots of cardio equipment. Most of the staff is nice. A few pretty lazy ones, but I guess that’s normal everywhere. When things that I would like to see improve is the cleanliness of the massage and tanning room. I think most guests are not cleaning up after themselves and so I think staff needs to be on top of that and doing walk-throughs often to check this. Great at first. The tutorials are awesome for learning the machines, the video workouts are fantastic to do at home, but the activity tracking needs to include more gym activity, like the PF 30 steps and machines, the PF 360 area with ropes, bands, weight balls and kettles.

It’s a legit gym. Yes. A well used one. (More so than they deserve.) if you are a regular customer it’s fine. If you are trying to cancel, have issues with payments, or anything g else irregular, they have the most shady, disgusting, and just down right criminal tactics to illegally charge you. They don’t clean their gyms much at all. They don’t enforce their own main rule which is: don’t slam weights. I complained to an entire staff including the manager about weight slamming that was going on in my gym. They said “we didn’t hear anything from over here. Sorry.”. Love My Gym BUT….
I love love love my PF but get so discouraged at the number of people that go to the circuit training area and sit on their phone and won’t move so others can move to the next machine. I have complained about this for over a year to this app/review and nothing changes. It’s not a customers place to report this to the front desk. There are several people standing at the front desk chatting that should walk the floor to check things out but they do not.
Summer is coming and school will be out and this situation will only get worse.

Love it have a suggestion tho
I love the app. It’s good for keeping on track for different kinds of workouts. Every time you go. I really enjoy the team summer workout plan because as a team in high school I don’t really have time for a job as much as I would like I don’t have time to work as many hours as I could because I’m a minor therefore I don’t have as much money to pay but with the team workout plan, I can keep my body in shape and healthy while also focusing on working a job to save up I also think that on the app, maybe you could add like some kind of diet thing to help when you’re at home to focus on a strict ki
