The loading time is a little bit long but works pretty well.

Have to log into this app every single time - sufficiently annoying to book elsewhere Also it will change your FF number without consent, even if the one you booked with is higher. You can’t change it back at check in - the kiosks they insist on everyone using just error out. Cathy used to be the best airline. No more.

The biggest annoyance with the app is once you add a booking while not logged into your CX account - the trip disappears off the Home section within a day The people writing this app need to understand that a lot of us flying CX have status on another airline so we are not members. Every other Airlines app seems to handle this well except CX

Trying to check in for an international flight on this app was horrific and painful!!! The personal details section would not let me submit, no matter where I tapped. The travel document section scanned my passport and Visa correctly, then refused to submit because “something” was missing without saying what. I ended up manually retyping everything, which took forever and made me late checking in. then I use the Cathay Pacific website, and it worked flawlessly. I deleted the app. I’ve never seen such a simple check-in process made so buggy and frustrating!

Most the app works great except check in. The personal information and emergency contact doesn’t save preventing check in

Easy to use website but expensive flights

Not enough time to think, the app already shut me off from buying the ticket! It is a big purchase! Should have more time for user of app to think!

Absolutely seamless. Mind you the extra security precautions taken can sometimes feel a bit of an overkill BUT BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY

My first time traveling on Cathay Pacific . And my first time flying over 21hrs with an airline ..I flew economy and was pleasantly surprised as well as grateful for the additional comfort amenities inclusive in my ticket price point ..Service was outstanding as was the attention to detail the was given to the guest in my cabin area ..If you want to be treated like a first class passenger but need to stay at a price point relative to your comfort level , I only suggest Cathay Pacific Airlines …

The Cathay Pacific app is a mess. It constantly locks me out even when my login details are correct. I’ll enter my membership number or my email or my cell no. with the correct password and it still fails! How is this bug still not fixed and how does this app have 4.3 stars?! Incredibly frustrating to use.

Best airline app I've used. auto populates, moves easily and quickly from screen to screen.

Cathay Pacific left several of passengers’ luggage behind and treated it like it was just a minor inconvenience. It felt like a decision they made before the flight, because when we landed there were staff with a small booth ready to manage frustrated passengers and collect information. My connecting flight was only a couple of hours later to an island outside the main city, requiring additional travel. I was told my luggage would arrive on the next flight which is the following day. I was given the option to continue without my bags and have them shipped, but because this destination is far

I can’t even log in. The only way I can log in is through my desktop computer and by using my membership number. Why doesn’t it recognize my email? It makes no sense. And when I do log in and try to check in, it deletes my entered information. The only way to enter the information is to have it scan your passport. Absolutely awful experience

Using this app has been a very frustrating experience. My account keeps getting locked out even when I am using the correct password. Information that I enter in my profile or during check-in is not being saved or is not visible afterward. Even after I check in, the app continues to prompt me to check in again. When I try, I notice that some of my previously entered information has disappeared. I hope their pilots are better than the developers of the app.

My company paid for economy. I simply paid the price difference to upgrade to business class. Couldn’t do it online, but called Cathy Pacific and the process was simple. Thank you!

For a travel app to require 2 factor login and to make it text based makes it impossible for you to log in when oversea. The app also makes you log in often, possibly whenever the app updates? Useless if we can't log in during travel....

First airline app that is seamless to use and everything is available without having to look for it

Customer care…. Not service. This company cares about what its customers need and want. It’s not service when you care. Thank you for making my flights comfortable.

App wouldn’t let me checkin saying more information was required but wouldn’t tell me what information was missing. Then when I got to the airport it suddenly required 2 factor authentication via text with no other options available. My SIM card did not work in India so I could not log into the app when I needed it the most.

Took me less than a minute to check in. Very simple

App keeps giving me an error to call customer service when trying to log in. Call customer service fir app issues and to make a ticket change. Nothing getting done. On hold for over 30 minutes and still no answer. Too complicated. I thought Cathay Pacific was a highly reputable airline. What a disappointment.

Even trying to leave a review was problematic as well as everything from online. Check in submissions where scanning documents did not work. App says it has sent boarding passes, plural, but only sends one of them to the Wallet or to a text. Café Pacific has known this app needed work and that is archaic, but they have done nothing about it. Even the Customer Service people on the phone said they regularly have passengers calling because they can’t do simple things on the app

I purchased two sets of tickets from different online agents. After completing the first segment of trips and you checked out. The apps have no way to add new segment of another trips. Online help couldn’t do it. Other Airlines apps like Garuda and EVA air have provision to add new travel segments. Probably I have to enter the new segment after completing the first trip to make online check in or go to counter check in.

I found the desired Cathy flight using Google, which had a convenient button to transfer to Cathy to book the flight, but it the price was significantly upgraded and seemingly impossible, to find the economy fair shown on Google. I cancelled and logged into my Cathy account, but the app times out in 15 minutes. Then I couldn’t log into my account. I eventually logged in as a guest to book the thicket.

The payment setting is quite silly and frustrating. The app supports different payment choices by geo location, not by user. Which means a Chinese user can use Alipay when in China but can not when out of China. Same user but different payment choices for an airline app? Another China specific issue is that App’s customer service/chat doesn’t work in China without a VPN. Could be very annoying experience.
