Bojangles Restaurant

This app constantly sends me notifications of offers and promotions but when I click on the notification or when I check the app for those offers, they are not there. When I finally did have one that I could use, it told me the location did not accept that particular offer. That location is the only one nearby so it definitely defeats the purpose of saving money. I love Bojangles and I understand they’re are somewhat new to the app game but if you’re going to send me deals/promotions/offers, please make sure it’s actually available and on my account.

The app generally works well, but have a couple of suggestions. First, there should be some actual confirmation from the store that an order is ready. When I make a large order for my office, the app will say my order is ready, but it will be nowhere close to ready. Confirmation from the actual store would be a MAJOR improvement. Would be a 4- or 5- star app with that improvement. The second comment would be that not all available items are shown on the menu. That may be difficult to accommodate local items.

The basic layout of the app seems OK although there are too many items to scroll through for selection on the menu. It works, but it just seems clunky. The real issue is with attempting to use promo codes for offers that are there in the app. It’s obvious that the QA or quality assurance done for this app in this area was nonexistent or terrible at best.. I’d literally rather put my hand in a blender than use this. Clunky. Barely functions. And when it does? The store won’t even use it. Placed an order this morning and it said ready in 10 minutes. For inside pickup only- no drive through option. Lame. We get there and guess what? Doors were locked at 7:30am. Great. 5 minutes sitting in drive through and even when we get to the window? They make us pull forward because our order isn’t ready 20 minutes after it was supposed to be. For curbside pickup, the app says to call the restaurant when you arrive (rather than hit a button in the app or join drive thru line, like other apps). But for some locations, that might not work. The manager at ours was very nice and apologetic when I waited a little longer than expected, because *they don’t have a store phone.* She said to just get in the drive thru line next time and let them know you made a mobile order, before pulling into one of the curbside spots. First the app is terrible and outdated. Had to delete and redownload just so I could get the part you put your address in without it freezing up. I tried to order my food but there’s no space for special instructions or substitutions. Placed my order which was a kids meal, adult meal, two sauces for $23. Pretty steep price. And arrived 5 minutes later to pickup food and it’s just disappointing that you can even talk to a real human at the speaker. It’s a robot talking to you. Great place for breakfast. Number of choices. Continually changing up the menu keeping intrigue. Great location usually a very good staff. I think anywhere you’ll find that one bad apple but overall they’re managed well at this location and they’re pretty consistent. I’ve been served some older cooked food from here but that’s typically at any restaurant but they’ll replace it or make it fresh upon request. Restaurant is generally pretty clean. Horrible service from every restaurant I’ve ordered from through this app. It’s almost like they don’t even look at the order until you show up and tell them you ordered. Not sure why there’s a wait time to pickup they don’t start packing it until you show up. My daughter currently has been waiting over an hour for an order I placed on this app and the store has their phone turned off. I would write it off as a bad day but every time I order from it it’s a disaster. I pulled up to the curbside pickup sign and notified them that I was here. I waited a good 6 minutes, then a message popped up on the app saying to call the store. I called and had to tell them what my order was. 5 minutes later, a taping man approaches my car and hands me my food. The fries were dang near frozen with 200 pounds of salt on them. My first order was fine. I decided to use it a second time and had difficulty getting my order. The dasher had the details but the store claim no order came through. I found that strange since I used this app not door dash so they definitely should have had the order. I used to love the app because it’s very convenient and easy until I started realizing that I was getting charged more than my total. Just before checkout, I would see the itemized prices plus the amount of tax and a final amount due. When I go to checkout it would be more than my total. Where is the added fee coming from? I ordered their potato rounds in a family meal, but they weren’t available. I wasn’t able to modify the family meal to replace them with a different side. Instead, I had to delete it and start my order completely over. So the second go around, I ordered double fries, since you get two sides with the meal. Love going here in the morning for breakfast ❤️ I know sometimes it can be busy and it could take longer then normal but there is a drive thru full of cars and to-go orders and the long line for dine in.. so please be patient with the lady taking orders.. yesterday I came in and this guy was being so rude with the lady she was short staff and she was taking orders filling orders and helping with the window… he basically threw his chicken biscuit at the lady.. Walked in to the store several employees in the store, no one acknowledged us. While we ordered on line, I would think one would at least be acknowledged. My husband and I placed separate mobile orders at this Bojangles. This was our 1st time here and most likely our last! The app said to pick up inside or through the drive thru. I do not recommend this app. Difficult to customize and lacks many of the features other restaurant apps have. I place an order on the app for a salad that I’ve gotten several times in the past and paid for my purchase. As I was leaving to get it I received a phone call from the restaurant saying they no longer serve salads. I searched through the app trying to find a way to cancel my order but didn’t find it. Writing to whom it may concern, Creedmoor, NC I love love love Bojangles… but unfortunately I can never redeem my offers bc pickup isn’t available ANYWHERE close to where I live or work. Every Bojangles location should have the opportunity to use these rewards. Especially with gas prices like they are! I rarely write app reviews and would prefer only to write positive ones. I’ve left this app on my phone for more than a year in hopes that I’d simply downloaded it at a bad time and that fixes to make it usable would arrive.
