Before I used this camera, I read the Privacy Policy in the app. Some of it is pure gibberish, badly translated into English. And some of it looks dangerous: It appears that you are giving a foreign company the right to distribute your personal data to virtually anyone they choose. What could possibly go wrong? 🤔 Parts of the Privacy Policy, appear to contradict other parts, meaning that what you thought was protected may not be. Read it carefully!

I want to know who authorized unskippable pre-roll ads and deceptive scam redirects on this platform. This implementation is not just unacceptable-it is dangerous. In an emergency, every second counts. Forcing users to wait through ads or dodging malicious redirects just to access a live security camera feed completely defeats the purpose of having a safety system. I have no issue with banner ads placed under the live feed, but blocking immediate access to the cameras with unskippable ads is completely unacceptable and a severe liability.

There’s really nothing this app can’t do it’s continued to make what’s already great even better one of the fastest apps I have ever used they are far superior to eufy and similar apps keep up the great work thanks for your continued innovation

I’m beyond impressed to say the least! I got these cameras because of the price point but thinking they would look cheap unfortunately. And boy was I incorrect. Just set up both cameras and got online all within 5-10mins. I wasn’t aware of all the addition functions (I.e night-vision, alarm, sound, smear areas, etc etc) they’re definitely a plus. Also it has the same charger as all my other devices. Additional online storage is only $.99 or free storage with the sad card.

Way too many “UPGRADE TO OUR CLOUD SERVICES!!” begging in the app with no way to disable it. Highly annoying, and makes using the app or navigating around it a chore. I already bought the camera, I don’t need your cloud services. I understand they want to make more money post-sale but this is not the way. Until the app is cleaned up, the broken English is fixed, the begging for cloud upgrades goes away, and the bugs get smashed, it stays at a 2. And I really like the camera as a product, so that’s a shame.

I've own these cameras for two years but what I hate about them The most is that it will give you notifications for 2 to 3 months then all of a sudden it stopped working what if there was someone breaking into my home I wouldn't know because it doesn't notifications you that someone is lurking around your property you have to uninstall and reinstall the app second is the cloud plan I have six cameras in the price they want me to pay for six cameras is crazy. instead of having a plan for all the cameras they want to charge you for each individual camera.

My cameras keep a close watch on all corners of my property. Thanks for a very user friendly camera. I feel safer with our cameras always watching my home. I actually have another one in a different state. Keeping a watch on our camper and campsite.

I ordered 2 cameras for my lizard enclosures. I was very excited because the mounting mechanism was better than what I’ve seen on the market. They mount great but was having a lot of trouble with the connection and the color of the cameras. They were also overheating. I tried all the troubleshooting steps on the FAQs to no avail. I have been reaching out to the customer service for weeks now and have yet to receive any sort of response. Not even additional suggested troubleshooting, nothing. Do not recommend.

You can’t buy a better little camera to monitor the outside of your shop or home! For the Price, it far exceeds what I expected! I have recommend this little setup to various friends as it was done yo me. I love customer service as well. If there is a problem they are quick to resolve it. I can only say Thank You for such great monitoring as it has deterred a nosy neighbor from returning to my yard.. Just what I needed to keep two legged and four legged varmints away. I love the choices you get for alerts telling them they’re under surveillance! Thank you again!

I recently had another product as it was a gift. However, I’m so happy. I screwed it up because I looked into getting a different brand checked into yours and ordered it. This camera is so cool- the only problem I have is the preview isn’t zoomed out- it tells me someone is there shows me the preview of the video, and it is super zoomed into the side of the banister on my front porch- unless a leaf from my outdoor plant is trying to get into my house. When I try to upgrade, because the camera isn’t making videos available to me apparently without upgrading despite being advertised as not needing cloud service, it gives me an error page. I have tried to reach out to support, but the chat feature doesn’t work. I tried the phone number, but my phone service said it couldn’t be completed as dialed. I’ve had these cameras since July 2025, one camera works perfectly fine, the other will not function properly and now I don’t get any notifications from either camera despite my settings. The one camera just died on me. The light shows it’s charged when connected to the cord but will not turn on or reset at all. I have had these cameras now for about 3 months. The vast majority of the time, when an object comes into view and sets off the alarm, it takes so long for the camera to wake up that by the time it does, whatever triggered it is no longer in view. Also, often when trying to view a prior video, it just spins and will not play. I have tried rebooting, no change. My cameras are close to my Wi-Fi, and even for the very close ones (within 15 feet), same behavior. And really, stop trying to upsell me for longer video. I’m using an iPhone 13 Pro, and while the camera worked initially, it is now effectively obsolete. Since I declined the cloud storage subscription, the app forces a full-screen ad every time I open it that cannot be bypassed. This is a fatal flaw for a security camera where every second counts. Customer support is non-existent—I’ve reached out multiple times with zero response. Save your money; they clearly don't value their users. I wish I could give them a negative score.

I would not really even wanna give it a star. I bought the cameras, not for cloud control most cameras nowadays you have to use cloud so they can ring you into payments. There is nothing special about this company and their products that others don’t offer - at lower prices. If anything, they are sort of too invasive with their need to collect location and network data constantly to even use their products. There is nothing special about their app either and they welcome you with an annoying AD every time you open their lame app and push the expensive cloud service even after you’ve said NO to it multiple times. As an installer, Dahua is myselling brand. For my personal use, purchase a nanny cam pt interior model. For my surprise, the app wad incredible useful, a lot of control, very competitive with other high end app. Ended up buying more cameras for personal use, including some battery/solar (always heiyoucam)

I guess my biggest issue is that the app gives me 2 choices, write a positive review, which brings me here to the App Store, or have a complaint, which takes me to an email feedback screen to send them the complaint. So only if you’re leaving positive feedback, do they want you to leave a review. Second I pay for bird ID, but it doesn’t show up anywhere in history or in the video clip on the cloud what kind of bird was identified. This app when it works is terrible most of the time. If there’s somebody at your door, It won’t open, it just freezes up. All they’re trying to do is steal your information. Before you buy a new security camera, you better check which app it runs on because this one is the worst. The camera is great, but the app doesn’t work most of the time and when they update it, it doesn’t fix any problems.

This app has a serious flaw. Since I purchased this app, I’ve had two bikes, stolen and multiple packages. Initially, I thought it was a user error because the first time I let the device die. I thought that was my fault. The second time I thought maybe it was due to the device placement because for some reason I have dozens, if not, hundreds of alerts throughout the day but somehow the moment someone stole my bike there was no there footage. It works good in daylight although you have problems with the lights at night washing out some of the picture. Recharge holds for a couple days if you don’t use it constantly. Great way to check on things cheaply.

I bought 2 of the Hawkray Solar Power Energy Low Power Battery Cameras. One monitors my front yard, driveway and street. The second one monitors the backyard. The backyard I've got hooked to the solar panel and it stays charged at 100% all the time. The camera in the front yard, however kicked on so many times because of the traffic that the battery would never stay charged on solar panel alone. Which I expected to be the case when I purchased the cameras. I went ahead and plugged the camera into a wall outlet. I brought a camera thats uses this app to keep an eye on my cats and strays cats that come around but almost like clock work the app stop showing the main screen and gets stuck on a blue screen trying to sell me storage which I don’t need because i have SD card installed. If the camera wasn’t great I would have been stop using this camera and this app. Do me a favor and don’t buy the camera because if you do you will have to use this horrible app. Worst buy ever!!!!

Generally, it can be a good camera. The quality isn’t bad, a little pixelated but still clear. However, this app itself won’t open half the time so I can’t even use my cameras. I have to reopen and close the app multiple times before it will finally work. The camera movement itself can also be laggy and take time to actually turn in one direction. My biggest issue though, is the app freezing and not opening at all, it shouldn’t take me multiple times to close and reopen it before I can even see my camera footage.

I paid for 3 cameras for a year in advance because they offered a discount. Now I have cloud service thru 2027 or so I thought?The next day all cameras stopped working and I had to reset them. The $83 I spent I guess is forfeited and I have to pay for cloud service again. I tried to go to app support and report this problem with the app and selected the app it said not reportable. The app is great otherwise just don’t purchase cloud service. When the app crashes you have to pay again. Why is this my fault?

This camera exceeds my expectations. I bought it with the intention of keeping an eye on my dogs. I wanted to see them when I was at work, just for fun but it turned out better than I expected. You can see video very clear.

Good picture good color does has some bugs needs to be fixed but honestly for what I paid for this camera and the app it works great should come with free i cloud storage built in the app I think but really great price great picture it has its corks time to time but it’s a great app

I got this cheap quad lens camera from Temu just to have a little bit of security, but honestly I must say I am really impressed with not only the camera, but the fact that you can use the camera WITHOUT a pay-wall if you have an SD card installed, and keep the same functionality. I highly recommend this camera, and application. I ordered 3 more for my home, and another for the business. Much love.
