Too many ads
I get that you need a subscription for ads free experience but this app is different. Right when you get into the app, you will be welcomed with an ad. Before you choose a pic, another ad, before you can edit, ad. After you edit so you can save, ad. And it's not just a 15-sec ad. It is 2 3 minutes ads and some of them can't be closed even if the timer already ran out—which leaves you to force close the app and do the whole cycle again!!!!

I understand the reality of the industry—developers need to eat and servers cost money—but this app has moved past 'monetization' and straight into behaving like a bottom-feeding parasite. Watching two unskippable ads just to get past the splash screen and reach the UI is already pathetic, but forcing 8 separate ads for a single, basic enhancement? That isn't a functional tool; it’s a digital hostage situation where my time and patience are the ransom. It’s as if you’ve designed an ad-delivery simulator that occasionally, as a treat, allows me to look at a pixelated version of my own photo.

Complaint Regarding Auto-Renewal Without Clear Notice
I availed a 1-week free trial, but there was no clear notice or explanation that after the trial period, I would automatically be subscribed. I did not expect that once the 1 week ended, it would auto-renew and immediately deduct ₱499 from my GCash account. I’m really disappointed because I only agreed to try the free trial, and I don’t even use Remini that often. I also noticed that there is a lower-priced option of ₱59, so I don’t understand why ₱499 was charged without a clear explanation. Given how expensive things are right now, ₱499 is already a big amount for me and part of my budget.

Beware: Refund Issues / Misleading Charges
I did not intentionally subscribe to a monthly plan, yet I was charged. I also did not receive any text message or notification from Apple services informing me that I was charged for a subscription. When I reached out for a refund, Remini refused to help or assist in processing the refund, even after explaining the situation. This feels misleading and unfair to users. There should be clearer confirmation before charging and better support for accidental or unauthorized subscriptions. Posting this for awareness so others can be more careful!!!

In terms of quality, it gives impressive results of enhanced pictures. It’s extremely overpriced at ₱499 per week (around $10), and the features are cheap, not even premium quality. Poor service, doesn’t even get the job done. Also, the “free 1 month” is not true. It’s just 7 days free trial. I thought they will charge my bank after a month because thats what theyre promoting. This is already the second time it charged my bank without any reminder or notice. So frustrating and annoying! Don’t use this app—it’s useless and definitely not worth your money.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP
I was charged PHP 499 for a subscription I didn't intend to keep. I only used Remini once during the free trial and forgot to cancel it. As soon as I noticed the charge just a few hours later, I canceled and immediately requested a refund. Despite my prompt action and the fact that I never used the app beyond the trial, they refused to return my money. Very disappointed with the lack of understanding and flexibility in their customer service. Be careful with this app - they make it hard to get your money back even if it's a genuine mistake.

Their “60 seconds” take 3-5 minutes to “generate” the photos you upload, then all of a sudden they’d create a profile for you even tho you don’t want to. Your profile is automatically created WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT. Second, the features don’t work on FREE TRIAL, and takes LONGER TO GENERATE because they want you to use up all your days waiting for it to load until your expiration date comes, then you’ll be charged if you forget about the expiration date of their “7-day” free trial. Already cancelled my subscription to avoid unnecessary charges due to this scam app.

I was charged PHP 499 for a subscription I didn’t intend to keep. I only used Remini once during the free trial and forgot to cancel it. As soon as I noticed the charge just a few hours later, I canceled and immediately requested a refund. Despite my prompt action and the fact that I never used the app beyond the trial, they refused to return my money. Very disappointed with the lack of understanding and flexibility in their customer service. Be careful with this app – they make it hard to get your money back even if it’s a genuine mistake.

I had a really bad experience with Remini because I was requesting a refund for an unintentional purchase. They didn’t even listen to my opinion and just rejected my request. I don't even use Remini because the app doesn't really improve the quality of my photos; instead, some parts of my photos become distorted. So, I stopped using Remini. Then, when I tried to pay for my iCloud storage, Remini automatically renewed my subscription. Remini shouldn't decide on auto-renewal. They should let people subscribe on their own or at least inform them before purchasing the subscription.

I’ve been using Remini for a while now, and it’s definitely had its ups and downs. In the past, I could edit and save multiple photos for free, which was great. However, the new update has made things a bit frustrating. Now, I’m only allowed to save a single edited photo for free, which is a big downgrade. AI Photo errror!
I been using Remini for quite sometime now. Last night, I just subscribed it to enjoy AI Photos but the thing is, not even 24 hours of using the app, there is always an error. I tried to close it, deleted the AI model, checking my internet connection, and I even update my phone thinking that was the problem. But after doing everything, still the same error popped up. I’ve already emailed the customer service support, but it says that I should wait for 2-3 business days. Really? I just subscribed the premium thinking I can enjoy it but I was wrong. Please fix it or it is just a waste of money.

I just wanted to restore an old ID photo of my wife from when she was in grade school to use as her contact photo(with her permission of course). But every time I enhance it on the app they add some sort of make up on it. The most frequent one being eyelash extension or something. It just doesnt look right.
