Regret Buying The Memories Plan
I had the free 6 month trial and loved it, so I bought the 1 year memories plan. It’s been horrible ever since. Its predictions/notifications are ridiculously inaccurate and no matter how many times I report the events, nothing changes. For the money spent, do better.

Got one and used it for my 2 kids. The hardware is really bad quality (thermometer is inaccurate it’s a know issue) very often you’re left without a video stream (2 different house over the years, strong wifi in the rooms) software is terrible, not picking up when the kid is in or out of the crib. Sleep apnea
Everything about the system is great! Love the product. 2 things 1. The breath counter before stop breathing alarm, the alarm is after 20seconds. if it could tell us how many seconds between breaths. Sleep apnea is considered between 10-20 seconds in infants and toddlers. Which significantly impacts brain development. I get the alarm is for SIDS but if it could also show us the 10-20 seconds apnea range and frequency we could help our children before it gets impactful!!! Also the old logo was better. Truly love the app and product tho.

Not worth the money
I like that I can check on baby when I am out with my phone, but it would be nice if the Nanit came with an actual monitor screen to use at home especially for nighttime to save my phone battery. The app is not worth the money in my opinion, you have to pay $400 a year to use all of the apps features. Yet it is constantly glitching and takes forever to load video history as well as the night/daytime video lapse.

Big Nanit fan!
Been using this for four years. Ive recommended it to friends and will continue to. Also I’ve got two suggestions. 1 - The “parenting team” view should tell me who has access enabled without having to go into everyone’s profile individually. Also I should be able to have someone’s access expire after a certain time so I don’t have to remember to go and revoke access. 2 - please figure out the hotel wifi thing. It’s a real bummer when traveling.

I’ve been using the Nanit app since my first baby was born in 2024. I wish I had skipped the high tech option and used a regular non WiFi monitor from the very beginning. The app is CONSTANTLY glitching. You pay for an expensive annual membership only for the “Insights” to never work. I pay to have access to my camera history but majority of the time it shows “Video history not available”. What is the point of paying for it then? Customer service is a complete joke and gives you solutions you’ve already tried with no real answers or compensation. Constant disappointment. I’m only continuing to

Connection Always Lags
The connection is frequently unstable and video feed does not work at all. When I complain they just blame it on my wifi though the rest of my house has perfect connection. They’ll say I need to unplug the monitor and plug it back in, but it’s always at key times where I can’t go in the room because of baby sleeping. I’ve had multiple people tell me the same happens at their house and Nanit just blames their connection. Not to mention the astronomical subscription fees on top of the already expensive device. Do not pay the money for this device, I have knock offs throughout my house that work

I was struggling a lot when my baby was first born. The camera we had wasn’t great. It wasn’t as high a definition as this camera. I love that I can see her respirations being monitored and that it will alarm if she stops. My peace of mind, and better sleep is worth the price tag of this camera. Save your money and just get a regular baby monitor. The camera itself is one of the most expensive on the market to begin with, and then they want you to pay a subscription on top of that to access monitoring stats and insights. I have the highest speed internet for my area plus a high quality wifi mesh system. No other devices or apps have connection issues, however this app has non stop connectivity and buffering issues on all devices we use the app with (iPad and iPhone). Money Grab and Not Great Product
Bought the Nanit as I thought it was supposed to be the best baby monitor. After paying the insane price for the monitor itself, I learn that I now have to pay an insane recurring subscription fee to get any kind of features beyond the most basic things you’d expect in a baby monitor. I need to buy specific Nanit sheets to track growth, specific Nanit swaddles, chest wraps, etc. etc. Not a fan of this greedy company that takes advantage of new parents. Not to mention - the product and app are not great at all. Wasted my money here. Lesson learned.

False alerts are common even with the nanit band placed perfectly. I can see the baby moving in the video but nanit issued the alert. Their technology is garbage. The camera will say things like baby has been sleeping for 2 hours when the baby isn't even in the crib. Completely unreliable but super expensive.

Filtering in Activity tab is bad
I want to be able to filter just the feeds and diapers, rather than all the other ones that don’t have filter options. Currently even after turning off the sound, motion filters, I still have to scroll way too much to find the feeds and diaper changes. Needs to have better filtering.
