They’ve been busted for selling data
I immediately deleted the app when I found out that they were recently busted for selling student data in California and paid a fine of over $1 million. If they’re selling the information of student athletes, you can bet they’re also selling your data. I would not trust this company.

After I bought tickets, it was not clear at all what I was supposed to do next. There were 6 tabs that were not explained what they did if they were clicked. Why wasn’t I just allowed to print out the tickets to give at the entrance like other online tickets buying companies do? Seems like a much better way to do things.

The worst
Bought tickets for a school event that got rescheduled due to weather. One of the people I bought a ticket for couldn’t make the new date.
Tried to get a refund for that one ticket. You can only talk to a bot who continually says they have a strict no refund policy. Virtually impossible to get to an actual person to explain your situation.
My only hope is that whoever runs gofan, in their personal life, has to deal with companies as garbage and unreasonable as they are.

One of the most frustrating apps I've ever dealt with, and it is the only one my school uses so I am hostage. Took three weeks and multiple Customer Service interventions to log into my account for the first time. Every time I try to buy a ticket through the app or website it tells me I have to re-enter the same information over and over and over. Support is digital only with 24 hour turnaround minimum. Do not recommend.

It’s so hard to pull up my tickets at the door. Staff is not helpful got here super early to get good seats. But app would not pull up tickets just said thank you for your order but the person at the door refused to let us in . So we didn’t get the seats we deserve to have do to the delay . I love this app. I got this app from my friend and now I really love this app a lot, I haven't got to any games yet. O use this app for another app called Saturn for updating a calendar I have for kids at my school. I get to know know about all the games at my school and what games/sport it will be with what day it's going to be with if it's a home game and an away game. I also get to know the location of where the game is happening at.

Had to use this app for parking at a high school cross country meet. Paid for the rock and when I attempted to use it to park the app claimed I already used it which was false. So had to find other parking miles away. Later at the meet the ticket reappeared. Useless! So far the customer support has been abysmal with 2 apologies for the delay in response we suggest you open a new ticket. No refund in sight. Epic fail of a company! And no I do not want to use your AI chat bot!

No Apple Wallet Support
The ‘Supports Apple Wallet’ designation needs to be removed from the App Store listing for this app.
Our school has migrated to GoFan for event ticketing. The app listing states that it supports Apple Wallet. This is completely false. One of the benefits of the previous system our school used was the ability to load tickets into Apple Wallet make use of its built-in features. These include location/time awareness which puts the pass on the phone’s Lock Screen for easy access when arriving at the event.
Apple Wallet also included the ability to purchase our family’s tickets together and then

Non existant customer service
Not only do they not have all the sports that my school requires tickets for, when I put in a customer ticket I waited over a week for a response. When I received the response it informed me that they have had long wait times and for me to submit another ticket for assistance. So it has been two weeks and still no customer service. And on top of that, I have to pay for my ticket plus a transaction fee to use the service. Nothing but a scam and another money grab for nothing. Complete waste of money and time.

I believe this app does not have any customer support whatsoever. Tickets are created and cute. However, nobody follows up. You just receive a random weekly email saying they’re experiencing high volume. Nobody getting back to you and the chat bar is basically just an automated system that creates blank tickets.

It’s so annoying to not have the ability to share a mobile ticket. Every user needs to get the app and create an account to access a transferred ticket. I purchase 15 tickets for different family members for wrestling and many of them seniors so the app download is tricky for them, and I have to run to the event entry to get them every time

I purchased tickets for my daughter’s wrestling tournament and selected the incorrect event. I quickly ordered the correct tickets and attended my daughter’s tournament. Says I have no tickets after paying
App is glitchy, often say “uh-oh we can’t find the page you’re looking for” after I pay for my tickets. Then it shows I have no tickets available. I have to click the link in my email to access my tickets.
First few times this happened I ended up making multiple purchases because didn’t think payment was going thru. I don’t know if it’s a glitch or intentionally being deceptive.
