Decide what videos will help them make the most of their time online, then personalize individual profiles using custom content filters as they grow. - Help your youngest kids learn their ABCs, nurture their curiosity, and more in the Preschool mode. - Expand your kids interests to songs, cartoons, or DIY crafts in Younger mode. - Give your older kids the freedom to search popular music and gaming videos in Older mode. - Or hand-pick the videos, channels, and collections your kids can see in Approved Content Only mode. Rewatch videos and bond over favorites Quickly find your kids’ favorite videos and the content you’ve shared with them in the Watch it Again tab. Shape your kids’ viewing experience with Parental Controls Parental Control features help you limit what your kids watch and better guide their viewing experience. Our blocking process aims to help keep videos on YouTube Kids family-friendly and safe – but each family's preferences are unique. Don't like a video or channel, or see inappropriate content? Flag it for our team to review. Set a screen-time limit Encourage your kids to take a break in between exploring content. Use the Timer feature to freeze the app when screen time is up so your kids can apply their new skills to the real world. Shorts!!!!!
How come you allow shorts on YouTube kids?? I usually let the kids watch YouTube kids without controlling what they watch and was surprised that there were millions of shorts with horrible content in it? Now I should remove YouTube kids from all their devices. I couldn’t find any option to block shorts. And I cannot remove them individually as there are thousands of them.

Des vidéos qui ne sont pas seulement pour les enfants sont mise la dessus et bloque l’accessibilité à ces vidéos à la communauté du youtubeur, l’empêchant d’avoir de commentaires et autres trucs qui sont nécessaires à la vie de la chaîne... De plus elle entrave grandement à La Liberté personnelle ! Pointless
Short version: uninstalled after 20 minutes. Long version: What I expected was a way to subscribe to channels, so that the bulk of recommendations was coming from subscriptions, and to block channels. The latter kinda works but you cannot view the list of blocked channels. The former... I could not find a way to do that at all. Whether you use the adult version or the kids version, you still have to fight against their recommendation system. I would rather take my chances against the adult version. Fortunately, I do not watch YouTube myself, so I don’t have any problems with history. Also, w
