Horrible app
By far the worst banking app on the planet. Makes me want to stop banking there. Never works like it’s supposed to. 2026 and this is the best we can do? Invalid tokens nearly 99% of the time. I hate dealing with it.

New look, can’t review easily
I like the new look of the app overall, but the formatting of transactions makes it difficult to tell if I’m looking at a debit or credit. Need to revert or redesign the list to make it easier to discern. Potentially a - or +, or red and black font color. It looks very neat and uniform, but it’s so uniform they all look the same and finding specific payments to reconcile is more difficult.
I like the approvals section, like the transfers buttton. Overall a nice redesign, please fix the transactions list though.

Oh my, this new update lists incorrect account balances in my accounts; it effectively has become useless on the ipad, made ever more frustrating because it won’t transition to landscape mode now. Such a cumbersome infrastructure Midfirst has with this app; screams of local and cheap. Don’t get me wrong; we picked Midfirst because they ARE local. But this stuff is just not in the professional league one expects from a bank supposedly as great as Midfirst. This app is often the customer’s very first impression on a daily basis of Midfirst. Great bank, terrible app.
Dealing with the MidFirst bankers is always first rate.
It is the closest thing to a boutique bank in terms of how you are treated by the bankers and employees, so kudos to them in a day and age where the big banks have employees who just don’t care, or are just two weeks in on this next job (or just out of prison ).
The App is horrible, even for 1995. There is no rhyme or reason by any of the sun menus. The desktop version makes even less sense. They have been working on the next version seemingly for the last few years but it never comes .

This app makes me feel crazy because I will enter ALL of the right login info and it constantly tells me my password is incorrect. I’ve had to call 10 times for them to tell me my login info and I know I tried that very info.

Who knows what my password is
I don’t even know where to begin I am really desperate to check my balance and do my day to day online banking but this app is impossible I may leave the bank because of it. I ABSOLUTELY have to go on my app to check my balance for my business and this interface is absurd I would expect this from a smaller bank but I’m under the impression MidFirst is at least mid-scale in terms of branches and size.

I really like the retail MidFirst Bank app. This one is totally unreliable. Having to enter a separate company ID on top of your username and password is a nuisance as I can never remember it. I have business banking with other financial institutions and they just require a username and password. Two stars is generous!

Although I have had a very pleasant experience banking with MidFirst, their app is by far one of the most lackluster things I have ever seen. Even smaller banks I have been a part of have better functionality. I see now that the regular app has FaceId, but as a customer with personal and business accounts, I appear to be stuck with the business version. As prior users have stated, it is not much better online. This app “works” technically, but the login is the biggest hassle I’ve ever seen. I’ve used other banking apps that were way more user friendly. As others have stated, once you answer 72 questions, stand on your head, spin around 3 times, and change your password, then you can use the app. It however seems to be functional enough once you are logged in, and you can make mobile deposits. The online banking at Midfirst is a hassle too, so that is something I’ve come to accept from them.
