Customer service is pointless
I notice immediately after placing an order that the card used was not the default card but the last card used. I try to use help center, and it was nowhere to be seen. After 22 I notice that there are 3 phone lines for when the chat function is closed. The lines dont connect to anywhere. Finally I get ahold of a service support person the next day after waiting for the next available timeslot where chat function is available and they say because it took too long for me to get ahold of them grab is powerless to help. An emotional support balloon would have been better for helping my issue than

If you are traveling or living in Southeast Asia this app is an absolute must have. I see some people complaining about canceled rides or getting frustrated with the app. Honestly? That is a user problem, not a Grab problem. If you can't navigate a simple app or lose your patience because a driver is stuck, you clearly lack an understanding of real world traffic. Drivers aren't magicians; traffic happens! With a basic amount of patience and common sense, this app is flawless. It has saved me so much time and effort. 10/10 highly recommended!

Useless if you need a ride somewhere!
I’ve been traveling two months in Asia, and have now stopped counting how many times my ride via Grab have been cancelled after! A driver have accepted the tour. They accept, and then call you via the app to negotiate a new and higher price. And if you’re rejected they cancel the deal. There is nothing you can do about it since the app doesn’t let you rate a driver that didn’t show up. and if you on the contrary cancel your have to pay a cancellation fee. This app can only be uden to give you an indication of how much a ride approximately will cost. And then you realistically have to add 50

I need a confirmation screen
Everything is perfect but I need an easy way to confirm with my driver that we are a match. Let’s say our screens turned into a matching color with matching name and driver license. Will help a lot when standing around many people or waiting in a hard to find place.

Grab gives you the impression that your ride is secured, but in reality, no driver may ever be assigned. When you book a ride a day in advance, the app says you can cancel up to one hour before the scheduled time. After that, you’re told cancellation is no longer possible—and if you try, you’re charged the full fare. The problem? Even after that one-hour cutoff, no driver is actually confirmed. You’re left waiting with no way to cancel and no guarantee a car will ever arrive. It’s a frustrating and deceptive system that fails when you need reliable transportation the most.

We order food. Then waiting time is 2 hours. We try to cancel, but it’s not possible. We try to find help with customer support - but it’s non-existing. So now we have to go somewhere else to get dinner. Will delete the app now, and you should probably not download grab if you see this. Try one of the other apps.

Scam
The taxi took me to some remote location far from my destination. I pointed to the screen and said look at the screen Jomtien beach. I managed to make him drive with google map home. I then tried to book a new ride to see where Jomtien is located according to Grab. It was now in a new location. Every time I tried it was a new location. Grab don’t use GPS, they just dump you in some randomly generated location. The ride was charged to my credit card but the driver did not care much about this issue and I had to pay him cash for the ride. That is double the original price Now I understand
