Just paid 475 Baht (15 usd) for a 4 km ride in Thailand. The stated price was 105 Baht. Wonder how they pull this trick ? ? Can’t do anything about it. Nowhere to go to file a complaint. …….jan. 19. 2026. Just got scammed again. 535 Baht for a 10 minutes ride. He did not close the ride in the app and drove around Bangkok for more 2 hours to make money. Always make sure you finish the ride and get confirmation

Works great for fast transfers

Works great once I got the hang of it.

The taxi took me to some remote location far from my destination. I pointed to the screen and said look at the screen Jomtien beach. I managed to make him drive with google map home. I then tried to book a new ride to see where Jomtien is located according to Grab. It was now in a new location. Every time I tried it was a new location. Grab don’t use GPS, they just dump you in some randomly generated location. The ride was charged to my credit card but the driver did not care much about this issue and I had to pay him cash for the ride. That is double the original price Now I understand

I can not recommend this app If you ever have an issue they will side with the scammers
