Doesn’t work on old versions of iOS
Got a Garmin watch in July 2025. After the Jan 2026 app update, the watch is absolutely useless. Reaching out to customer care led me to an unhelpful and rude bot. Garmin knows of this issue and still hasn’t fixed it!

Get an Apple Watch. This app and the device remind you every now and then the insane ways they will hide features to frustrate you. Just a simple edit of time because you forgot to stop the timer it would be frustratingly pathetic experience. You would rather prefer deleting the workout. And is it so freakishly impossible to avoid sending 100 notifications when you sync ? I would give an award just for the insanely ridiculous way things are done.

App not connecting with watch
I have a Fenix 8 47” Amoled…ever since the new update to the App, the existing watch was disconnected and I am not able to reconnect it..no matter what I do! All that is left is, open the phone, insert the watch inside, close the phone and then see if it connects.
And, please Garmin, before you ask me whether I restarted the phone or the watch or turned on the Bluetooth etc, I have been using the pairing technology as long as the tech exists! Whatever you did to the App, please undo!

One gripe though size of the app is approaching 1 GB, can’t fathom why the app is so large. It’ll be awesome if the size could be reduced.
