I rate GoPro 4 stars because there are some things that I think they should add but it is my first day having it so I don’t know how many they actually have but I like how it makes some edits for you so that you don’t have to spend hours making one I think that you guys should add ( if you don’t already have it) something where it puts words on the screen going with like if the music has words or what you’re saying in a video. It’s the only option but not a good one
Technically the fastest way to get video/photos off your GoPro, edited, and shared without having to open your computer. However, this app is slow, tries to take up a ton of space (mine is currently 127Gb even though I have cloud storage access), and every feature works inconsistently. Nothing like spending 30min grabbing stills from video only to find none of them saved to the app -despite saying “Saved To The App!” (you can’t save stills directly to your phone). Or downloading a painstakingly edited video only to have it be crunchy compressed - even though you’re using all your normal compre

Let’s go over the pros and cons. First, the pros: I love this app because I can make videos that add a bunch of different photos and videos together, and add different songs and themes to make it unique. This is useful because you don’t have to watch every video one by one, and it’s better than the Memories videos on the Photos app because you can permanently change the music and the theme, making it much cooler. Then, the cons: the storage on this app is rather annoying. You can only have a certain amount of videos and photos before it starts deleting on you. Also, another thing I find rather

Wasted hours on edits
There used to be a great app for the computer but GoPro deleted the app for the computer. Now I have to use their awful phone app and it has so many issues I don’t know where to begin. I have lost countless hours of work due to the app not saving my “saved” edits. The app doesn’t save edited videos to my photos like it should, and instead erases all of my edits. I am not lying when I say I lost 5 hours of work in seconds due to trying to upload the edited content to my photo library. There is no way to get my “saved” edited videos back. Use literally any other software than this one and do it on the computer like a proper editor. So as far as the whole app goes and saving your media and all that it’s wonderful. it’s great and connecting to your GoPro, that all works awesomely. The only thing that I wish it did was allow you to edit multiple videos at a time, for instance like 30 at a time… even with 30 second clips to 15 second clips each… you can but you gotta be quick and I’m not going to be that quick. It is very simple and easy to use, I started with my Hero 5 session and liked it so much I upgraded to and Hero 10 black. It is very easy to use the editing software even having expensive PC editing hardware I will still use the quick app on my iPad to edit short videos. I pay for a yearly subscription with go pro and this app has gotten so bad that I can’t export a 30 second clip. I have had to resort to CapCut. Very frustrating when I spend time making a nice edit and it doesn’t get past 13% and crashes when I export. I can’t even save the finished edit to my photos. I would avoid this app until Go-pro can get it fixed or contract with a new provider. At this point I don’t see the value in renewing my subscription.
