The ability to “record” while viewing clips with the gyro/motion OverCapture feature was removed in a previous update. The replacement tools are not a simple to use and require much more effort while resulting in a lower quality end product. GoPro support in forums claim this feature will be added back “soon” but it has been over 2 months with no updates. This was a key feature to be able to quickly edit and post clips right after activities. Without it, the effort requires to do the same things is simply not worth using this product or the camera.
