PLEASE add in a log in feature
I’ve been using this app for 5 or 6 years now and I’ve loved all the improvements like being able to go back on any mistakes I’ve made, and new effects that seem professional but, there is still a very annoying issue that I, and I’m sure a lot of other users, would want fixed. Please add in a feature where we can log in so that all of our data is saved no matter what device—old or new—we use; it’s really annoying how when I get a new phone, none of the videos I’ve made are saved into videostar and I have to individually save them or, when I want to edit on a different device that’s not my phon

Power packs removed
I’ve been editing on videos star since 2018 and for the first time Ive considered switching to another editing program since they decided to remove the ability to purchase power packs individually. That was the only way I would get new effects and It was something i really liked about VideoStar unlike other apps I wasn’t forced to pay monthly instead it was just a one time payment. Great and smooth editor, but bad move to subscription model
I’ve been video editing in video star since 2018. I always thought having ALL of the packs was not as necessary, as some effects I will never use, and so the option to buy a pack on its own was great. I just put aside some money to buy a new few packs for my editing, as it had an effect I would like to use often (motion blur pack and adding custom fonts, as I type in other languages a lot and many of the fonts do not adapt to other scripts as well), and rather than give me the option to buy just the font pack, prompts me to buying a month or year long subscription. I love Video Star. It’s one of my favorite editing apps my editing Instagram/tiktok account is: vslyedits On Instagram, I saw my very, very past edits from 2020, and I can see my progress getting better and better. It’s very straightforward to learn the apps features, which makes it easier for beginners to start editing! Somethings I'd like to point out!
Hi! Been using VS for years, its great bur there are somethings I'd like to point out. Firstly there's a bug with the multilayer bookmarking feature. Where if the app does crash, restarts itself, or you close it even though it saves your layers. It'll sometimes bug out and the scenes wont show properly at all and you are forced to redo them. For example I made something transparent with the erasure tool and after I reopened the app later it was showing the transparent grid and image I erased as well as making the not-erased part not visible for a few seconds. i’ve been editing for a HUGE while and personally I am a Big Fan!! and it’s by far my favorite editing app although I’ve been running into issues. I do believe it is my phone that may not be able to work with vsp. BUT i also do not know if it’s happening to others where I would replay my scenes and random fade ins and the screen will darken randomly. Why do I have to pay for things I already paid for?
Hello! I would like to start by saying that I’ve been using this app for almost a decade now, and I have had no issues with it whatsoever. As of recently though, I took notice that in order to access certain features, you need to buy the subscription. I used to enjoy using Video Star, but the app has become extremely frustrating. Every time I try to log in, it gives me the “Exceeded the number of Devices” error, even after not using it for three months. I tried to renew my subscription, thinking the issue would resolve itself, but the same message popped up again. To make things worse, my account was previously suspended just because I requested a refund. There’s no clear explanation, no warning, and no easy way to reach support or manage devices. I was so excited for the new quality and frames per second update because it makes my edits look sooo much better! but it wiuld be nice if you fixed some if thr bugs. Makes my entire phone lag.
I’d give it a 4 star but recently with the latest Apple updates and the latest app updates my app is almost absolutely unusable. I have an iPhone Xr and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and everything that support tells me to do. ANYTIME I’ve tried to use multilayer and use masking or certain presets or just in general certain things on VIDEO CLIPS in the multilayer it lags my entire phone and it becomes almost unusable and crashes the app multiple times. I love this app from the bottom of my heart it’s an amazing editing platform. My only issue is saving the videos. And I don’t mean saving them to my camera roll that works just fine. However, if you delete the app all of your edits disappear. And to keep them after you delete the app you have to either save them to icloud or files. Video star is amazing ..I love using it for animating and editing and null layers are literally especially life savers when it comes to making animations, but i really wish video star would allow us to add effects to the null layers..it would make life so much easier..for example; if you were to animate mouths or eyes, usually you would use the mini wave H effect right? since it’s a wave, obviously it moves slightly even if it you set it to ‘so slow!’ So it might might change the position of the eyelid/mouth and I think add effects to null layers could really help with that to make it look smo

It would be cool if we could make folders of edits and keep them organized. Or put hashtags on them so they’re easily accecaable. It would also be cool to label the songs we’ve used or any notes we have if we want to credit media used. Just a few ideas to make the app better. Also I preferred the old way of cropping videos in this app, I liked it before. Awesome app and always improving!
I’m always impressed with how much this app is capable of doing. There’s so many things to play with, and the way the key frames work is so easy to learn while still being very customizable. They’ve also improved so much over time. Recently, I got a new phone, and the app reordered my projects when the data got moved over. I asked someone in a live chat if there was a way to reorder it back to its original state, and she said there was not. In the recent update, they added a way that is super easy! So happy with this. Thanks Video Star team for listening to feedback!

Great app but I don’t like the new update 😐
I’ve been using video star since May of this year and haven’t had any problems. The only problem I have is the new update. The undo redo button replaces the quick split button which kinda is a problem. The original split scene button is really hard to use because while your splitting the scene you can’t hear the audio to your edit, just the original one (video star users know what I’m talking about). The quick split button is easier to use than the split scene button because you can hear the audio you put down but on the split scene button you can’t. Other than that video star is a pretty easy

I have been using video star since about late 2017 so i was around before there was mirror effects or anything super fancy, it’s been so crazy seeing all of the additional features they’ve been able to give us with every new update. Sometimes it can definitely be a little daunting when you are new to the app but with a couple tutorials and some inspiration you can make some amazing projects on here!! Do hope they add some audio effects (maybe some reverb type feature) and possibly some other ae like effects in the future! Would also like to add if you are able to get the basics of this interfa
