Great for journaling!
I bought the Canon Mini Printer in December 2024. It is now June 2026 and it still works great! I absolutely love it! It’s perfect for journaling. I print a photo on sticker paper, stick it in my journal, and write about it. It’s been wonderful adding photos to my journal entries so I can even better preserve special memories. I also used it to create a mini photo album as a gift for my parent’s wedding anniversary and they loved the album. The app contains lots of frames and stickers to choose from so you can decorate your photos too! My only con is it prints darker than my photos actually ar

App crashes
The app constantly crashes anytime I try to select a specific photo album. The only way it will not crash is if I select photos from my main library. This is a huge problem when looking for photos that are older. I’ve wasted a ton of time (& storage) taking screenshots of older photos just so they can show as recent. Otherwise, i’m scrolling through the abyss of thousands of photos. Don’t get this printer.

Crashes every single time
If you can keep the app open it’s fine. I have an iPhone 17 pro max and it crashes every 30sec - 1 min so I have to rush to try and print a single pic one by one. Defeats the whole purpose of adding frames or text to the pictures because there’s no time before it crashes! Bought it for vacay and thought it would be a fun activity for my daughter and I to do on downtime but it never works.

Family Visits
Great thing to have for family visits and pictures. Although the color from the app is slightly darker. I would suggest they also add bleed line so it doesn’t cut off text. You will see text in the app on the bottom when it prints off, half an inch. I have a blast using it for sending cards. I have dyslexia and my handwriting is not the best so it is wonderful to have the text feature

Long Lasting
I’ve had this tiny printer and app since (at least) 2020. It still works great. App is easy to use and automatically connects when I turn on the printer. I’ve switched phones a few times and it somehow still stays connected via bluetooth. 🤷‍♀️

The printer is fantastic and a lot of fun, and the photos actually turn out pretty good. The app itself is nice, user-friendly, and has some great features, but it's very frustrating to use because it keeps crashing. I managed to print only two photos and it crashed six times. It would be perfect if they fixed the stability!!

I use to love this printer
I was such a fan of this printer I bought this for my mom for Christmas. When I recently started using it again to make collages for my new journal it crashes every time. It has become so frustrating- I have tried removing the app and restarting everything but nothing is resolving the issue. Seeing the latest reviews of the product, I know I’m not the only one. Impressive “surprise” printer
The Cannon Ivey is a great crowd pleaser and provides the perfect sized mini picture that was stands wallets in other tight storage places. The processing time is also quick and impressive. I gave Ivey four stars because of lateral streaking on film. I will try calibrating to see if streaks disappear if they do five star stars.

App is unusable as it keeps crashing
I’ve had the ivy 1 and now the ivy 2, love these printers and have told a lot of people about them. Sadly since a few weeks ago any time I try to choose a photo to print, the app crashes. Ive updated everything, disconnected, reconnected, etc. No trouble shooting has fixed the issue. I found on Reddit that this is a common issue. Some people said canon says to talk to Apple and then Apple says to talk to canon. When I try to click on app support it brings me to a dead link. So at this point I have a working device that can’t be used because this app isn’t working. Doesn’t seem like anything is

This app worked for about a year, and now it crashes every single time I use it. There is nothing wrong with the actual printer, but the app has made it useless. On top of that, Canon only offers online support and they had no solution. Neither did Apple (though I strongly believe this is a Canon developer issue). This is a KNOWN ISSUE across community forums and there is no solution from canon anywhere! I’m so disappointed.

Ivy 1 not a good product
It’s a mystery to me how this has so many 5 star reviews. My experience is that the print quality is pretty dreadful—lots of banding, and pictures all seem to be dim and have a yellow-brown cast to them. The battery life on the actual printer will give you about 5 photos for a full charge. The Bluetooth is constantly in and out. Truly, either save your money or go with a different brand or model.

This app is really badly designed because when it crashes it doesn’t even let me pick up from where i left off in the editing process. I would give this zero stars if I could. It is not designed to handle uploading pictures, which is super sad coming from a canon brand printer.

Unusable - App Crashes
I’ve tried to just report this problem to Canon directly, but it’s literally impossible. The app crashes any time you try to scroll through a page of options. The collages, layouts, and of course the photos! I can’t make selections to print anything, so it makes the printer useless! If they can’t fix the app crashing problem, I guess I’ll just have to return the entire mini-printer set I just got for Christmas. :(

Horrible
Every time I go through it when you get the app the first time it says select un accessory and then it shows nothing and you can’t cancel because if you hit cancel it keep keeps on giving you that same question again until you pick something but there’s nothing there to pick. Why am I supposed to do this app is horrible and it’s so dumb and if you get this, you wasted your money cause it’s dominant it’s stupid.
