Fix these bugs!

I only keep hayu because I am in Canada and all my reality tv is here but this app is insufferable. I have had it for 3 years - no update has even touched the glitchy crashes and issues. Theres constantly glitches, errors, playback issues, the app randomly crashes, deleted downloads without telling you, says it downloads episodes and then when you go to watch them theyre not there, refuses to play next episodes, disconnects in the middle of airplay. We all pay a subscription- what are you guys doing with that funding? Hire some developers and coders and fix your damn app! We’re in 2025 and med

Downloads frequently do not work. If you close the app the downloads can all be lost(assuming they even worked in the first place). Tech support tells you to delete the app and reinstall it which is of no use. App needs some serious fixes. Amazon Prime, Disney+ and Netflix have no issues with downloads on their apps.

Delayed lips to sound, totally delayed sound to content, always having to reset the app and Apple TV and all the other troubleshooting thet tell me to do. Be AWARE OF YOUR PHONE STORAGE!!!

I have an HayU account which i love because of the shows… but unfortunately i noticed my iphone storage doubled with the app (without any downloads on the app). Once the app was deleted i got back to having 35gb remaining out of the 64gb that i have ( it was at 61gb before i deleted the HayU app). Very disappointed as i can only watch Hayu on another device or via the tv.

Often your continuously having to close the app and re-open it as the show will skip forward leaving the audio behind causing the audio to not match there mouths. This is super frustrating as it’s always when your trying to relax. Other than that content is good and has many shows you can’t get on other steaming sites such as demand or Netflix.

I use the Apple TV app of Hayu. Issues are numerous! Crashes frequently, freezes, audio out of sync with picture, picture sometimes missing with only audio when starting an episode, constantly having to delete the app and reload to Apple TV to log back in & re-pair with my account. Ami forgetting something?.... Just reading over A LOT of the other reviews here and I see these issues are ongoing and have been for a very long time. Doesn’t seem the developer is capable or interested in improving their app or service. Disappointing.

This app is the absolute garbage. It always skips and then the voices are off with the image and it happens constantly. It’s a shame

If you’re a reality tv junkie like me, this is the app for you. A lot of shows that can’t be accessed to stream in Canada otherwise, unfortunately the app lags a lot, slows down, won’t load, the sync of the sound and video will be off etc. It’s too bad otherwise I would love it.

Downloads need improvement

I always download shows to watch later and basically every time I close the app now it logs me out of the app and when I log back on all my downloads have been deleted. VERY FRUSTRATING. If the downloads do actually stay downloaded, half the time they don’t show picture, only audio. So I can listen to the episode and stare at a black screen but that’s not what I’m paying for. I’m not sure what the hold up is but if the company can not afford to program the app properly please just take it down altogether.
