I have a 2024 Sierra EV Edition 1 As of the August 5th update, it still crashes and will delete itself. I will be getting a software update next week, maybe that will fix the issue. Just making you aware. It will re-center itself when it does work, which is great.

I have been consistently raising this issue, and I want to emphasize the importance of having a “LIVE” vehicle status and alert notifications for actions such as unlocking, opening, or starting the vehicle. Just two days ago, after my doctor's appointment, I returned to my Sierra EV to find the tailgate down. Initially, I thought I might have accidentally pressed the button, but I was certain the truck was locked.
