I use this app probably more than any app I’ve ever purchased besides 2Do. It’s a page-one-on-my-homescreen staple. But I’m side-eyeing the direction it’s going in, starting with the needlessly clumsy interface overhaul that turned viewing On This Day (probably my favorite feature) from one tap to multiple taps that are so unintuitive that more than a year later I still stumble over the order. I’ve got the OTD widget, which ostensibly should cancel out that problem, but half the time I tap on it, it opens the app, jumps to OTD and then immediately jumps out of it, negating the whole purpose.

This has been abandoned in favor of the new Reeder, which is a worse app in nearly every respect. Such a shame because this was the best in class and now it’s wasting away with small but annoying display issues in iOS 26 that will only worsen with time. I’m off to find a new alternative, and that alternative will not be the new Reeder.

This thing is simply insane. Asks you to deposit $20 straight away, because unlike every other parking app I’ve used, you can’t simply pay as you park. Why? Who knows, but I backed out of the $20 ask when I first downloaded app and just used the pay box. Now, when I re-open the app, I’m in an endless loop where I can log in (with a pin, for some reason) and update my contact info and nothing else. When I do that, it logs me out. Not that I want to drop $20 on this thing, but there’s no way to even do so (much less pay for parking) if I did. I’m pretty sure the only way I even could see that

Best app of its kind. Perfectly fine icon, too! It opens the app when I touch it, so five stars for the icon.
