I used to play this game a lot as a kid. I was ranked really high and had one of the best bot loadouts at that time. I spent hours upon hours grinding. Sadly the game is NOTHING like it used to be, completely pay to win, overpowered bots and weapones dominate the game. If you don’t get the latest stuff (you’ll need to pay for it or grind for months) you’ll get destroyed in seconds. Developers do NOT care for playability. They only care about how they can squeeze more money out of you.

Poor matchmaking
There is little to no apparent matchmaking for either level based or mech level based gameplay. Leaving all players still learning or levelling mechs and weapons to get pounded by veteraani players with severely overpowered weapons mechs and motherships, while you can’t even touch them with the base gear and mechs. Without that kind of matchmaking this game will never get more than 1 star from me. If it ever changes that then I’ll be happy to change to a 5 star review as the base idea of the game is fantastic.

I’ve been a dedicated player for a long time and have really enjoyed the game – especially building up my hangar with Condor, Raptor, Dux, Gangil, Kirin, and Mogwan. I’ve spent a lot of time collecting and upgrading these robots and weapons to create my main setup. But after the 11.2 update, all of these robots and weapons got heavily nerfed. For example, Kirin used to deal around 40,000 damage per shot. Now it barely does 20,000 and fires much slower. It feels ruined. You pay 100s of euros to finally have decent robots and weapons to win, only to see the devs nerf them within one month. This is an official complaint. I encountered that by some reason (my guess is that reason is intentional) when I watch an ad to get a reward 1 out of 2 times ad picture goes white with no symbols to complete it. It makes impossible to finish an ad clip therefore impossible to receive my reward. I was under impression that such manipulation is pure fraud. This review is to all those people that are complaining about the quote on quote “p2w”, while yes this game has micro transactions, you can’t buy skill. For example there are 2 players: 1 is buying most of the offers, 2 is f2p, 1 can just buy robots (for example Ares) and the perfect weapons for him, but he will get quickly assassinated by any assassin robot (for example Lynx). 2 is going to grind for the robots, gaining skill in the process.
