Google tv remote
I only use this app for a remote for my google tv. Works well but there is a constant bug. When I leave the app it seems to think the swipe to home means a movement on the remote. Which makes the remote go to the left corner every time either causing media controls to pop up or the media I’ve been playing to restart. Not aggravating just annoying. Otherwise the remote works well.

Works sometimes
This app is the only remote i have for my tv and it works, just not all the time. My bf and i both have the app and when it’s not working for one of us typically it works for the other. Unfortunately for me he’s at work and my app isn’t working, so i don’t get to watch tv until he gets home. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.

I use this app because I lost my tv remote. Google tv on a Phillips. When using the app, the remote icon only shows up half the time. I have to open and close the app many times to get the remote icon to show up. It’s so frustrating. Please fix! It’s driving me crazy!

Horrible Pairing
It was great the first few seconds, then it just kicks you off of it in the middle of you using it, making you have to repair it 1000xs before being able to pick a movie/ show and press play. Very annoying. But when you lost your remote Beggars CANT BE CHOOSERS HUH!?

Garbage Unreliable App
EDIT: The app actually isn't losing connection cause I see that it shows being connected to my google tv. Instead the app just arbitrarily decides that I don't need the remote as I'm actively using it and just causes it to disappear. I can't use the remote feature for more than 15 seconds without it disappearing on me and having cycle through disconnect and reconnect and force close and opening etc to get the remote back. Truly terrible app. Can't reliably do the one thing I need it to. I connect to my tv, then it drops connection as I'm using the remote. I then choose my tv to reconnect and

Not the best
The best thing I can say about this app is it works smoothly. It’s not buggy, or constantly disconnecting. However, it’s very limited in its capabilities. For instance, it’d be nice to be able to click on the icon of the app you want to launch. Other apps such as FireTV or Roku allow for this. It’d also be nice to be able to access tv settings via app. Pretty much all this app contains is the power button, volume, and a control pad.

Horribly glitchy all the time to the point where it barely works. Also the remote in general for the TV is absolutely terrible as it only has about 5 buttons making some functions on certain streaming services either 10x longer to utilize or impossible. Also somehow the remote turns off the TV or exits the media randomly.

It stopped working and now wants credit card information attached. I have Google Chrome and this should not need credit card information attached to work as a remote. I do not attach my card information to anything I do not attend to purchase. Apple has been using my without my permission. So I deleted it from apple’s use. So now I can not download a free remote unless I give Apple a working credit card. Been there, done that. Never doing it again. It is bad enough it hijacks some of my streaming services. I contact them and they say it’s an Apple purchase. I don’t think so.
