Good App
The app has definitely improved since last year. It was easier to connect with people from different jurisdictions and organizations from across the country. We were able to have fun times, serious conversations, and express our likes, dislikes, concerns, and questions via this app. Also, it was nice to have a place to take notes for each session/class that we were participants of. Overall, the app made the conference interactive and even more enjoyable.

I used Whova for the first time at Ultrasound World and was immediately impressed. This app goes far beyond a standard conference app with schedules, maps, and agendas. This was the first time interacting with this app. I loved seeing who was coming to my session and asking them all a question before hand. I loved that I could see my personal schedule as well as the entire conference schedule, could schedule pop-up meetings-ups, and read about speakers and other participants. This app helped me learn what to expect for my event. I was definitely in the know compared to others who didn't use the app. It helped me find vendors and connect with them, even when my schedule didn't allow me to visit their booths. I learned that there is a lot of resources available to me that can help me with vaccinations and pet adoptions. I’ve also learned there’s a lot of rescues that are willing to help me find homes for my animals, but most of all it’s nice to know that there are people out there going through the same daily occurrences that are just a phone call away to help if needed. Great App for Conferences
I attended the annual GSCA Conference and this app helped with navigating the conference. I like that all sessions and presenter information was all stored in one location. Even if two interesting sessions were scheduled for the same time, you could easily view the presentation from the missed session. Networking opportunities were greatly enhanced from using the App, which is great for lone conference travelers who may discover an old colleague or hometown friend to meet up with. It really helped to not sift through bulky conference book pages. I hope this is continued trend!

Incredible fun app
Recently used the Whova app at a conference I attended. It was great for keeping me organized! All the workshops offerings, scheduled events, and conference info was available at my fingertips by just logging in. What I didn’t expect is how addictive and fun the points and leaderboard would be. Awesome app!
The past couple of years our annual teacher’s convention has been canceled due to hurricanes, so when GACS was able to go virtual via Whova this year (because of corona), I was so exited! I loved being able to comment on the videos while watching, especially considering the videos were pre-recorded, so the speakers were in the audience replying to our comments. I love the in person conferences, but it thought this was a great alternative. The app was easy to navigate, and I love that you are able to set 10 minute reminders before each class started. Overall it was a great experience.

I absolutely love the app the only issue I had the whole time while using the app was I set up lunch meetings and even though I set a max limit, the app automatically increased the limit, which made it difficult to accommodate more people than I anticipated especially when I had already set a maximum amount of attendees. This app was the best conference app I have ever used, and I have attended and led many conferences. By the end of the conference, all my notes, photographs and video that I created during individual sessions were neatly organized by session along with the session title, description and speaker bio. The app is horrible to use. Custom event items will reset the date & time every time you want to edit any detail. The app is full of notification badges that cannot be turned off. I have 645 unread “things” under the community tab and I don’t know what any of them are. I definitely don’t care about getting any leaderboard points for filling out parts of my profile or setting up meet and greets or any of the other “challenges”, and I will never create a video to advertise Whova. I went to a conference over the weekend and they used the Whova app and it was phenomenal. It was easy to navigate and figure out where everything is. It had a very easy way to meet the attendees and connect with them and it allowed you to connect your socials on it also, I like that it was also interactive with the leaderboard and it gave you different things you could do to get points. Perfect for your virtual conference
I used this app for the most recent CVMA PacVet conference as a virtual attendee. Once I got it downloaded on my phone and found my event it was super easy to use. I was able to easily attend the different courses and ask the speakers questions through my phone. And when I was able to be next to my desktop I was able to chat with other attendees and the Whova team. The Whova team was attentive to the chat and quickly responded to any questions that people had. It’s a great app!
While I love everything about Whova, I think it would be helpful if I didn’t have to click “show and hide agenda” button when watching live-streamed or recorded videos online. It will save some time to see the agenda automatically on each day and simply be able to select the session to watch. Also, during sessions using regular zoom meeting features (like poster presentations and discussions), if there is a way to mute everybody other than the presenter throughout the sessions, that will reduce the chance of unexpected interruptions. This may be easily adjustable in zoom setting, not necessa

Best conference app I have ever used
This app was hands-down the best one I have ever used for a conference. Not only did it make the details of the event easy to locate, but the best part was the networking features. Very very user-friendly and I was able to find and connect with all of the people that I wanted to and it did a great job of advertising live meet ups so that people never felt alone. It was an incredible app and if you’re not already using it, I highly recommend switching to it.

Lotus wellness event
The app made it simple to follow the schedule of the events and plan for the 2 day event. With the links to the biographies for each of the presenters, I was able to see the depth of their experience and qualifications. With the home screen I could easily maneuver to the numerous features such as agenda, surveys, and questions & answers. It even had a segment for pictures to post. It is a wonderful app and very easy to install and use. I would certainly use it for future events.

Great app and will use again if offered at other conferences!
I really enjoyed using Whova for the APAHE conference. It was easy to navigate especially when trying to find conference rooms. When wanting to connect and network with others through the app, the app made it extremely accessible to do so! Smartest app!
I was attending a local conference and they required us to download this app I had never heard of. I don’t know who invented this thing but it is the most helpful app I think I have ever used. Not only is it insanely user-friendly but everything you need to get the most out of attending a conference as well thought out.
