What kind of an app has cash as the default payment choice?!?!
I had to use bolt 2 years after the last time I used it. This time for some reason the default payment method was cash and I didn't see any point in the confirmation verifying or asking about this. This led to a terrible and super stressful ride at night. I had no cash. Most people in this country don't carry cash because it's redundant. Everything is by card. I would have never expected a mobile phone app to not have in-app payment. This experience just sucked and maybe it's all my fault for not checking but it never even crossed my mind that a 21st century app would be so stuck in the 20th

Overpaying
I had problems with the app when ordering a driver - and hit cancel twice. It was my fault, though the first driver didn’t answer when I called which would have cleared the whole problem up. But the bottom line: a 6€ taxi ride ended up costing 32€ (!) I get that there should be charges and penalties for canceling, but that seemed a little absurd. I reached out to Support. They tried to solve the problem, but I got the sense that nobody could figure out the problem as there ended up being like seven different charges on the app. In the end, I just had to suck it up and pay this disproportion

Hyvä ja tehokas palvelu. Uutena tullut miinus se, että kuljettaja kuittaa kyydin, mutta ”viimeistelee edellisen asiakkaan kyytiä”, mikä yhtäkkiä lisääkin arviota. Klikkaat 15min ja lopputulos 21min koska kuski ei lähde heti liikkeelle, koska edellinen kyyti kesken. Toivottavasti saatte tämän kuntoon!

Bolt plus is a scam!
Took Bolt+ for a month and quit. It claims -15% on rides.. but I compared with friends without plus and my price was so luch higher that it was the same after my ”discount” as it was for non-plus users. Total scam. The cars are mostly mediocre, often broken, there is no way to adjust routes, the drivers are always non-local and speaking on the phone.

Scammer drivers
I was scammed by a driver my first time using the service in Barcelona. I had to pay for a second cab. Bolt refused to offer a refund even after it’s clear the driver scammed me. They tried offering €2 and then €5 on a €25 fare that I had to pay a second cab company for. I’m filing a consumer complaint but will never use Bolt again. Stay away. There are too many other options in Barcelona.

Well priced cab rides but the user experience in the app causes tremendous irritation, especially in the following points: - if the pickup address is manually changed to the address you want, it defaults back to the address determined by the gps location. Halvat kyydit on plussaa mutta viimeaikoina kuskeja ei ole enää löytynyt ja hinnat heittelevät tosi paljon. Joskus joutuu odottamaan kuskia 30min ja joskus se on 2min päästä ovella niin on hyvin vaikea arvioida omia aikatauluja. Samoilla asetuksilla matkan etsiminen voi maksaa eri verran kun kaverilla… viimeaikoina kyydin saaminen on ollut hitaampaa kuin bussi ja usein syy bolttikyydille onkin ollut se, että bussit kulkevat vaikkapa huonosti.
