(UPDATE) — ***eharmony’s response is laughable. It’s been a month since I joined and if I could take a snapshot of my matches, it’s 8 total and all are scammers. I joined as a paid subscriber for three months, thinking this app was better given its more detailed and elaborate approach. As soon as I joined, I immediately got a couple of likes but they were all from 100+ miles away. This app is just another repulsive money grab. For me personally, it was a ghost town. The only reason I even took the chance to download this app was because it was highly rated as “outstanding” by Forbes. It’s not. I have an issue in respect to the App functionality. The App will not let you view additional profiles beyond the current one, unless you 💗 or X on the profile your viewing. I was skeptical about using this app. I signed up because they don’t really give you any options to look or even use the app. They only tell you a few bits about the agreement and once you finish signing up after paying then they give you the full context of the agreement/ contract that you agreed to. Been on this app 4.5 years (and was dumb enough to remain a paying member). What finally drove me off here is the latest update to the browsing tab—now instead of scrolling through a list, you can only see one profile at a time. I cannot recommend AVOIDING this company fast/hard enough
Recent update changes how Discover works from scroll through a list (which seemed artificially short despite at some point years ago the artificial limiting being removed) to a ‘decided now yes or no’ forcing an impulsive decision on a critical life choice. This is the straw that breaks the camels back.

Eharmony used to be great years ago, not anymore. Main issue is that there is a significant lack of people using eharmony. They claim supposedly hundreds of new subscribers sign up each day, but it is obvious that the number of people who actually pay for a subscription is extremely low. I'm not one to write bad reviews but this platform is so broken I feel compelled to save you from wasting your time and money.
First issue- they require a 6 month commitment at ~$100/mo (unless you find a sale window). Once you find out how bad this is, you will agree this site is pure theft, no refunds allowed. I hate that all the profiles are blurry when you use the free version, but I heard I lot of great things about this app so I thought I give it a shot. I did upgrade to the 3 month subscription to improve my chances. I took some nice pretty photos to upload as my picture. I was on the app for about a month and a half and DID NOT get a SINGLE like or even a view on my profile. It wasn't hidden. This app used to be good but in the past months I have noticed a lot of fake accounts and too many scammers. I bought a subscription which turn out to be a waste of money cause I’m not talking to anybody real at the moment only fake accounts. Noticed that a lot of the five star reviews are complaints. It looks like the Apple Store it’s putting five star ratings on complaints. It makes no sense also, The tech-support on this app is horrible, it’s a typical Silicon Valley style never speak to a human being tech-support. Update: I cancelled my auto-renewal after the fiasco below and went for most of the year with no matches. As my renewal date approached, I suddenly began to get matches. Many of them. By now, I had deleted the app, so ignored the email notices, but in the month leading up to the cancellation, I received more matches than I had in an entire year before. I was recommended to eharmony from a friend who was on it years again and claimed it was the realest site because it was the most expensive to subscribe to. I signed up, paid the high amount for 3 months, and got scammed one after the next with fake accounts.
