Description

Blood Pressure Companion is a blood pressure, heart rate and weight tracker. Keeping track of blood pressure is a good habit to keep healthy. High blood pressure (HBP) is one of most common and frequently-occurring diseases; heredity, unbalanced diet, fat, lack of exercise, and drink etc may cause high blood pressure. Using Blood Pressure Companion to track your blood pressure, you can monitor your blood pressure closely and visual by words, chart and histogram. When you find it abnormal, you can take quick actions to find the reason and keep it from growing high. I subscribe to the annual membership for only $9.99. I am very judicious on how I spend my retirement income. This is THE BEST, “hands down”. It shows me how my health is trending; whether I need help soon. This data is shown whenever I need to know. My doctors can’t watch me “minute by minute”; but I can, with the information I glean from this app. But I can’t use the notes feature consistently. THANK YOU.

Paid for the app now charging IAP
This app was great, it did what I needed and was pretty simple, so I paid for the pro version. Now I’m being inundated with a subscription to keep using the app that I already paid for? Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. I have no problem if they want to start a subscription model for new customers, but those that already paid should be grandfathered in.

I really find this app very useful for monitoring and help managing my hypertension. I also take with me on medical mission trips to use in the field. I would have given it a 5-Star rating if also had place to record SpO2 levels. With that addition it would get a 6-Star rating from me. Maybe that is a not so subtle “hint” for someone.

I purchased this app in 2017 long before app subscriptions. Bought and paid for the Pro version with unlimited record entries. To my knowledge it has never been upgraded from the product I bought. Now, I get a popup to pay for a subscription and the “unlimited” app I bought is now locked: it says I have 0 logs available and 0 exports available. It’s a good app but I feel like I’m being held hostage for a product I bought and paid for, in full, for unlimited use. I’ll be looking for a new app.

I have been using this app quite happily since 2017 (I checked). I know that I have paid for the pro version of the app because I always wanted the ability to enter my data onto either my iPhone or my iPad. Is this legal?
I bought the premium version of this app years ago and have been using it since 2012. Now, they’ve switched to a subscription model that would cost $120 per year and removed my purchase. This took away features I’d paid for, such as being able to export the reports for my doctor, and create my backup. So disappointing that they did this with no notice, and no regard for those who have been loyal users from the beginning. I’d have been willing to pay a bit more for adding features, but $120 per year is far too much, especially with the current economy and the fact that I already bought these

If I would just take my medicine when I should, I would hope to have better results. But this app is great. It keeps track of your history, gives you your average bp over a time period of your choosing. It also allows you to list your weight and enter a note - for example, if you want to mention that you just finished running a few miles - hence the higher than normal bpm. It also exports the information to your health app on the iPhone and backup the data to iCloud. It even warns you when your bp is to high or low. Removed paid for features
I purchased this app in 2015. It was a one time purchase to get access to the “pro” version of the app that provided reports and exporting those reports. This was really useful to give to my doctor. I stopped using this for a couple years, but decided to get back in the habit today. Now the app has a subscription plan in the settings and my “pro” purchase has been removed. None of the notes in the change log mention this bait and switch. I’ll be finding a replacement. Heart monitor
I bought this app and it’s a great app to keep track of your blood pressure. However, after a few years now it wants me to subscribe so I’m getting asked to subscribe for an app that I paid for. I mean really you got to be kidding me I can just put this in an Excel spreadsheet if I wanted to or a text file, give me a break what a rip off.

Nice app but
I bought the app a couple of years ago and really like it. I would have given it 5 stars but lately I keep getting this annoying pop up screen asking me to upgrade. I don’t need the upgrade and there doesn’t seem to be a way to turn off this entire screen message so every time it pops up I need to x out. I bought the app to avoid things like this. I mean really people there should be a way to turn it off.

Trying to recharge me for an app I already purchased
I have used this app for years. After a couple of years using the free version, I purchased the full version on December 1, 2018. I have used this app. My doctors have recommended it to others patients after they saw the reports and history the app provided by me simply recording my bp into the app. However, it is suddenly telling me that I have to repurchase the app even after I hit the “restore” button. I pulled my info from Apple and it shows my purchase on the above date. I shouldn’t have to repurchase something I already paid for.
