The best so I have tried
This is a fantastic photo ap. I've tried (my disc, photo vaults are same with the umbrella )vs2, vs1, and a few others. What sets this apart is it will play gif and other formats. My disc will not although it says it will. You can email from this app and the photos are delivered. With My disc the photos are not received. It also plays video. You can also transfer photos from one file to another to reorganize your files. This is such a great app I purchased the pro app also.

Great app continues to improve.
Been using this app for many years and it has been the most reliable and dependable photo storage app I’ve used. The last major version update added encryption… finally and the new cloud subscription service… not something I need or want but thankfully it’s optional. They did however add a much needed feature with was the ability to create a new folder during import. The UI is still the cleanest among the competitors and performance is excellent. It rarely ever crashes. The security and privacy features are solid.

Great App But…
I’ve used this app for years and it really has been pretty great. But it occasionally has features (like the option to delete photos you just uploaded) disappear for awhile and then suddenly return. Also, sometimes it mixes up the order of photos in an album so you have to keep rearranging them. Finally, I’m just getting a notification that Cloud store is unavailable and that I should “make sure I’m logged in and connected to the internet.” I’m definitely connected to the internet and I don’t know what it means by “log in.” I’m literally inside the app settings when it’s telling me this so i

The app was great, simple to use. All features for onetime fee. Now they want 120$ a year for the same features and nerf/limit those of us that already paid them once for premium. Very disappointing. Will have to find a new one I guess that doesn’t try to do that sort of thing. Especially for so much money a year. Lost Scrolling
I like the look of the latest update to Private Photo Vault, but it lost what was to me a valuable feature. Some of my photo folders are quite large, and I like to move photos around within my individual folders for various reasons. Before, I could hold my finger on a photo’s thumbnail, then drag it easily across the whole folder. Now you can only do that for a page at a time. Pulling the thumbnail to the top or bottom just bumps the edge of where you are. It no longer activates scrolling. Great addition to photos
It has been a great addition for my art and photos, keeping them safe. One small request, in editing when I’m painting, an eraser option instead of the backspace would be greatly appreciated. When finding mistakes, instead of backspacing all the way which could be 10+ strokes, then having to repaint again, the eraser tool would be so much easier and time consuming going straight to that mistake. I do use other apps for big editing jobs but for quick touch ups PV works great without having to leave in this one. Also good for making quick text. I like Photo Vault, this is my third year now and

Video Play back!?
First off, the app is great! would and have recommended to people. However, recently I’ve noticed that when I add a new video(s) to a new folder it appears in the folder like normal but when I hit the “Play” button the video screen comes on but there’s a slash through the play button“\” and it doesn’t play. That never use to happen before. So before I give a full five stars, Can you tell me why this is happening and how you and or I can fix the problem? Dirty Photo Secrecy
This app has worked great for me since I started using it almost 10 years ago. A wonderful app to keep your dirty photos or videos of your loved one 😏, hidden from any outside person. A way to keep them accessible to only you and your loved one to look back on whenever you want. It’s also a great app to store snapshots of important documents or files that you may need in the future. Password accessible along with the option to do fingerprint or facial recognition in order to get into the app. That way only you can open it up.

Definitely Worth Having
I’ve had this app for five years, and have not had any issues with it. I think I paid some money for an upgrade along the way, I don’t remember, but in my memory bank I didn’t pay a lot, and I absolutely love this app as it functions right now. My favorite feature is your ability to create different folders, and choose to password-protect them or not. So, in order to open the app, you must enter a PIN. Then, in order to access any of your folders, you have to enter a second password. Unless the folder is not password-protected.

I have 2,000+ photos and videos stored in the app and have been using it for nearly 10 years. I have never lost any photos. Each update consistently makes the app better. Super easy to import and export pics and vids to/from the photos app. You can even delete them automatically from the photos app after you’ve imported them into photo vault so no one else can see them. Missing an IMPORTANT FEATURE
I’ve written to Private Photo Vault for YEARS telling them to PLEASE make it so that the Slideshow feature also works with a folder full of videos, and I don’t mean the thumbnails of the videos either, I mean actually play the videos all the way through one after the other. Please make it so that we can Slideshow a folder full of videos, let all the video files in the folder play, automatically one after the other. Incredible Vault with Great Tools!
I love this app. I’ve had the free version for years and it works very well, with a few nuisance items I’ve mentioned below. Kudos and suggestions: - It’s easy to use; uploading/downloading to/from photo library or web is quick and straight forward and can be done in bulk. Loving it so far!!
Highly recommend this app for pics and stuff, I also love that I can delete or recover them to my regular picture app!! Makes finding the pics I need so much easier and it’s passcode protected!! Great app to keep your private moments private
It’s a great app where i store all my adult material so it’s not all mixed with my phone general pics. The only one major problem I experienced, is that entering one of those countries where there’s a lot of surveillance , I deleted my vault folder hoping to reinstall it and find all my pictures there, but they were gone after I reinstalled it. I was very heartbroken by loosing years of horny moments saved in my vault app. I wish there’s a way to deleted it and getting pictures back when reinstalled using the same password.

Nice app! Does what it's supposed to do
This is an easy app to use. Love that you can create folders. Love that you can take a picture from the app. Just wished that when you choose the pictures you want to move from the camera roll, it also deletes the pictures from the camera roll. Right now, you can add pictures in the app but you need to go back into the camera roll & delete the same pictures. Not good if you forget!

I’ve used the free Photo Vault version for over 3 years without any issues. Rarely I would upgrade for a short period before going back to the free version. About 2 weeks ago I upgraded to the highest version and then cancelled the next month. Now it seems that this app will not allow me to go back to the free version without upgrading. I had a one time option long time ago to accept a special invitation that was when the first releases came out and after upgrading the app several times the request from the app developer prompted to accept the invite for a free paid access since I was originally using this app prior. Forgot my Password
I love this app. It is neat, clean and helps me organize and keep photos that are in the way safe. The only problem is that I either forgot my password or I changed it. I think I changed it and now the app doesn’t realize that I did. We need a forgot password link on the Home Screen. DO NOT USE THIS APP IF YOU WANT TO MANAGE WITH A MAC
This app was fantastic until an update occurred (I believe with iOS 17 or 18) that changed the functionality a bit and I shrugged it off. The “Hidden” folder on the iPhone was no longer accessible as a search option to upload photos from; no worries not the app’s fault. Flash forward a year or so to today, my phone needs a data dump and I see this USB directory is “loading bay” for Finder on my mac so I dump a folder’s contents to it then access it on my mac, the files are all in a randomized order. Zero metadata. I go to Share->Airdrop to my Mac, same thing. I saved whole folders to my photos

Great App -convenient and Private
I have really enjoyed using this app for storing pictures that need to be private and secure. I like how I can transfer pictures from my phone right into a secure password protected place and remove them from the camera roll on my phone. I also appreciate how it immediately hides the screen view and goes to the sign in screen the second I open something else on my phone such as a phone call or text.
