I have 2,000+ photos and videos stored in the app and have been using it for nearly 10 years. I have never lost any photos. Each update consistently makes the app better. Super easy to import and export pics and vids to/from the photos app. You can even delete them automatically from the photos app after you’ve imported them into photo vault so no one else can see them. It is nice that they are now offering cloud vault backup storage space as I was always nervous when transferring phones. I am currently signed up for the cloud backup and it is blazing fast.
