When you touch a SkyView search result, SkyView will open and select the object. To use 3D Touch with SkyView, press hard on the SkyView app icon from your home screen. this app is very interesting, it tells me when an object appears and it shows every kind of star, planet, zodiac ,etc. this is a very educational way to see everything in space. which is why this app should be the best space app out of all the other space apps.Keep up the good work on sky view. I would also like to talk abot the satelites app. it is very nice to look at all the satelites in space, i would like to ask if you could add a "All Satelites" button so it would be easier to see all of it then clicking each type of statelite. Fantastic 24-Hour Access to Your Sky with info/graphics
I wish we had this app when I first started out in Astronomy some four decades ago, when we were holding up transparent sky maps to the sky, and even cardboard maps with "holes" punched into them. This app is terrific for any budding astronomer, especially if you are just armed with a binoculars or a small 4 inch Dobsonian telescope. You can even view the sky on the other side of the globe (through the ground, so to speak), and terrific graphics plot all the information you need. There may be some minor inconveniences, when you want to bring the iPhone down towards you and the "sky map" change

WARNING: Not very accurate!!!!!
People who rate this 5 stars obviously had NOT pointed this app up to the sky to check the accuracy of the sun or moon position!!! It's not correct!!! I have to calibrate the position of the moon myself and even so I move a few feet away the app becomes INACCURATE again. some what Disappointed. Unless future updates improve it or I'll keep the rating at 3 stars

Its weekend and was upgrading the IOS for my I4, and happen to browse thru the section for iTunes store and saw this app. I was thinking it was just another app, but looking at the screenshots thought it might be interesting. So downloaded the trial ver to check and i was like what the hack how can they do this thing !!!..... Just 2 min for me to purchase this app to explore more and yet not seen all the features but whatever saw just couldnt appreciate about it. Got the trial version for like 10 minutes and that was enough for me to make the decision to buy the app! And i don't even buy lots of apps. I'm not really a fan of astronomy but I find this app interesting with the descriptions of the planets and the fun facts. It's worth it.. Well if you don't wanna go to the beach waiting for the sun to rise and realize it's not even rising there, this is the right app for you! lol cos it tracks the path of the sun and also other planets for that matter in realtime. So don't write it off as some geek's app, get it before the price goes up.

I always wondered to myself why can't I see the Draco constellation, but with this app I realized I can see Draco right now- only if Earth was a transparent ball.
