To use Spotlight, just swipe down on your home screen and search for your favorite celestial object like Gemini, ISS, Capella, or Orion. When you touch a SkyView search result, SkyView will open and select the object. To use 3D Touch with SkyView, press hard on the SkyView app icon from your home screen. One of the best!
IMO, this is one of the best stargazing apps out there. Everything is in perfect balance. Definitely worth the money. To devs: keep up the good work, and... maybe it’s time to add some gamification already? Badges for finding stuff, rewards for being there on time to gaze at rare events, etc. Could copy some (just some!) elements from Pokémon Go (I’m not kidding you, it could work!)
